its not the main focus so there isnt much of a romance...
the love b/w yeon and aheum started it all but there isnt much romance going on b/w jiah and yeon or it havent gotten that strong yet.. as of now jiah only considers yeon to be special to her and yeon's softcorner is only because she is the reincarnation... the fantasy thriller is taking the front seat as of now... they are giving more importance on building up the big faceoff b/w imoogi and yeon/jiah rather than the romance of yeon and jiah... i am not saying the romance is non-existing but if someone watches this solely for the romance then they will be disappointed..
ya.. her own mother just disregarded all the hardwork she put in to make her own career... i wish she gave it back to her mother and cut off all ties with her...
So ... I have this theory where by the end of the show, the character roles will change: Lee Rang and Lee Yeon…
i am sure that at some point lee yeon will have to fight nam ji ah as imoogi is still part of her but as she is the FL she will overcome it and fight the imoogi back... i am uncertain about how the other characters will end but i am kind of sure nam jiah will be alive till the end... she deserves to have a normal life after being obsessed with finding her family and loosing her normal life and childhood over supernatural creature's fight for power... i wont say the chemistry is off the charts but they do have decent chemistry.. its not nonexistent... they seems to be building the chemistry up and i liked all the scenes b/w yeon and jiah in ep 7... they just need more romantic scenes... also visually they look good together and they have really good chemistry offscreen.... i dont feel the chemistry in almost 80% of the kdramas so i am more than fine with the chemistry b/w LDW and JBA...

18 again is amazing... its directed so well and the younger male lead is doing such a good job... i think this is his first lead role and he is so good at it... i wont be watching true beauty.. the synopsis reminds me of gangnam beauty and except for the female lead i am not much impressed with the cast...

i have seen some clips of startup and it seems to be more light-hearted and fun than ROY... i will wait for more updates on startup.. since its on netflix, if it goes on to have good reviews, i will start watching it...
i watched it 6-7 months ago and i only remember IU's character and the flashback story... i didnt get the end…
i think i fast forwarded most of the episodes after the second half... i only remember crying my eyes out when her first love died... i recently rewatched only the flasback scenes on youtube and cried again...

i will wait till it airs more episodes... i jumped into watch ROY even though i didnt like the trailer just because it was on netflix.. it also started off really well but half way through became a snore fest... both are youth based motivational dramas so i am hesitating a bit... also i am not a big fan of the ML's acting...
this drama deserve a 9 for not being draggy and getting to the point without wasting much time..
true.. the genre is suspense thriller and kdrama suspense thrillers are graphic and suppose to make the viewers uncomfortable esp if a serial killer or crime is involved... memorist and signal were also like that... infact they had more uncomfortable scenes...

nine-tailed is of a completely different genre compared to startup... i enjoy both 18 again and totnt equally and dont think one is better than the other as they both belong to completely different genre... its like comparing apples to oranges... totnt is like hotel del luna and goblin but with less comedy and darker than the other two...
startup kind of gives me record of youth vibes( motivational youth based drama) and ROY kind of ended being boring even though it started off pretty well...
i guess they changed that from the movies and thank god for that... in the last episode its made clear she dont have romantic feelings towards him... his actions reminds her of her father and he has helped her and her brother multiple times so she feels close to him and thats all...
Question: if this girl is all about the urban legend stuff.....shouldn't she be aware how important the fox bead…
she cared more about getting lee yeon back... she isnt aware of the fact that the fox bead keeps her away from the imoogi... also the guy who took it said she will be fine even without it... she was running out of time to save yeon... she didnt had time to think about other options...
