so 19-20 in korean age means 18 in international age.. like someone said, born on dec 31st will be 2 yrs old by 1st jan which means a newborn will be already 2 yrs old in korea.. that is he/she will be 20 yr old in Korea whereas 18 internationally..
it depends on the month one is born.. some only gets just 1 yr added to the age whereas someone else get 2 yrs added to their age according to the month they are born..

universal suffrage is universal.. if a country adapts it then the legal age to vote is 18.. if a particular country can change the age accordingly then its not called universal..

in college based kdramas, they clearly show 1st year students drinking at a bar and 1st yr students are usually 18-19 yr olds(internationally)

also, legal age for other stuff changes accordingly.. like in some countries legal age for drinking is 18 whereas somewhere else it will be 21 or 24, legal age to get married for some countries is 16 whereas somewhere else it will be 18.. i guess in s.korea a 16 yr old can get married with parental permission because they showed something like that in the movie 'my little bride'..

korean have problem with her being in school uniform while kissing an older guy and not with her age.. if she was in regular clothes and kissed him they wouldn't have cared as the show made it pretty clear that she was 19 at that time..

i watched memorist without knowing anything about the drama and loved it.. one of the few kdramas that i didnt fast forward till the end while binge-watching..

ya.. its kind of obvious she killed KT's mother.. she shows special interst in ST.. did she put some camera in that giant dinosaur she gave ST?

you wrote my mind in a more articulate way.. i agree with everythig you said..
its pretty obvious that SB started becoming special to DH as he learned more and more about her.. also he always liked the undivided attention she gave him.. he never got that from anyone else.. she gives him attention and has his back.. since he was in a relationship with YJ, he never though of all that in a romantic way..
this show might not be one of the best rom-coms but it definitely is not anywhere near bad.. the leads are good and it has some of the best emotional scenes in have seen in kdramas.. they have shown the good and bad side of almost all the characters.. i also like that DH is such real character.. he might not be a macho or an overly charming guy but is very relatable and his actions are very understandable..

there is a lot of time gap b/w the breakup and DH start showing interest in SB but they didnt show the time gap properly.. her sister's group debut after months of training but if we watch the show we will think she debut within weeks of getting accepted..
same with SB's exam.. her exam was a couple of months away but the show makes it look like she started preparing for the exam 2-3 days before the exam date as she starts studying in ep 13 and writes the exam on ep 14.. its only through the flashback SB has while studying we understand there that a lot of time passed..
they needed to show the time gap properly..

korea follows universal suffrage so an adult is 18(19 according to korean age).. so obviously they are adults..

i get more disappointed with dramas that start on a very high note like whats wrong with secretary kim.. i loved every single episode of that drama till the revelation.. after that it was a drag fest.. but didnt felt disappointed with my id is gangnam beauty because from start to the end it maintained the same pace as it never made my expectations high..
hotel del luna, extraordinary you etc started off very excitingly but lost the spark towards the end whereas cloy maintained a certain level of pace throughout the drama.. it was balanced well even though the story was very predictable which made me watch it with the same interest from start to finish..

YJ is gonna take advantage of DH's mother.. cant belive YJ actually though sugaring the mother of a 30 yr old guy will help her get the guy back.. he is not gonna listen to his mother and get back with you..

the biggest twist will be if she dont accept the flowers..

i really dont understand the cliche formulae of making the 2nd female lead( if she is in love with the ML) into a negative character.. this is one of the cliches i dont like about kdramas.. the 2nd male lead will always be good to a level where he don't even seem human and the 2nd female lead will always be the bitchy one who no matter how rich, educated and successful she is will go to any extent to get the guy or hurt the FL..
there was no need to make YJ do more bad stuff especially since there are only 2-3 episodes left and she dont even show any remorse on how she treated DH..
one of the reasons why i like JCW's previous drama suspicious partner is because the 2nd female lead wasn't like the typical 2nd FL.. she wanted him back even after cheating on him but never did any planning or plotting and neither showed any kind of disrespect for the FL.. infact both the women liked each other and respected each other even though they liked the same guy.. thats how educated and successful women behave.. she knew what she did was wrong, apologized to him and said she still likes him.. he refused to get back together and she left him alone.. its as simple as that..

she clearly dont have a chance with DH and DH is completely over her..

that scene made me emotional..

also head nurse seems to be the one who killed KT's mother..

i never said mental health care workers cannot have mental health issues.. but the head nurse is not someone with a slight mental health issue.. she is a psycho who is capable of killing people.. how did she manage to handle all the physical and verbal abuse from the patience? the drama has clearly showed that caregivers face abuse a lot and they have it hard as well..
the director is shown to be someone who picks up every little details about people in general and not just patients. he clearly could see KT's inner trauma and understand MY by the first meeting... the head nurse has been working closely with him for years and he didnt find anything odd about her? its not easy for someone that mentally ill to be normal for that long..
agree that doctors are not super-humans but they are trained professionals and the director is one of the best out there..

absolutely.. there is no way she can survive without medical attention and MY's father obviously didnt take her to the hospital

the father's story perfectly fit into MY's memory.. so there are 80% chances that its real..
the head nurse seems to be the sister of MY's mother.. wasnt the title father of two sisters?

they ended it there.. she had a blank expression..
i will lose it if she says no.. the girl has been waiting for that moment forever and i hope they wont ruin it with some stupid excuse or manipulation..
