the director was more invested in showing why they need to breakup than why they should be together.. 90% of their scenes were DH being uncomfortable or trying hard to please her or her ending on conclusions by her own and blaming DH for every single thing..

i only rewatch the latest episode right after watching it.. havent seen the older episodes.. i will binge watch it after this week..

i have been seeing complaints about the age difference since the project was announced and it surprised me.. KYJ was 18 and did clean with a passion.. there also her costar and she had the same age difference.. i never heard this much criticism for them even though the guy looked way older than her.. in CWP she looked younger esp with the bangs and all.. now KYJ atleast have a bit matured look..

YJ havent given any single reason for him to still root for her.. so he moved on easily from her.. deep down he was also done with the relationship but still tried his best.. he wasnt in some deep love with YJ.. he was simply staying loyal and devoted towards her because thats how he is.. he is simply a loyal guy..

the confession wasn't sudden though.. SB and DH always had this unspoken thing going on b/w them and DH avoided it only because he was in a relationship. his mind never thought of it as he was completely occupied with YJ.. after breakup there was literally no reason for him to resist SB esp since she was making her intentions pretty clear.. DH always liked her company and was always at easy and comfortable with SB..

if they wanted to stretch YJ-DH relationship for everyone to completely get done with them, then they should have made this into an 18 or 20 episode drama.. 18 would have been ideal as that would have give them enough time to show scenes were viewers can get the time gap and more romantic scenes b/w the leads.. the writing is not that good but the direction and acting is good.. most of the emotional scenes in the drama are well acted and well directed..

her disorder is mentioned in every single synopsis of this drama.. a simple search on google can clear the doubt for anyone..

for me undoubtedly seo ye ji.. she is the star of the drama for me..

there physical build is kind of similar.. small face, cute smile etc..

the female lead isnt a bad girl.. she has anti-social personality disorder.. her badass behavior comes from the fact that she dont have any feelings or consideration towards other people.. she is not the female version of arrogant rich chaebol male leads of kdrama..
even her extravagant wardrobe is part of her disorder..
even after ep 14 still has some of those trades except she became softer to people who are nice to her..

he found the assistant of sung in cute when she was making cute faces for ST to draw.. may be those two will end up together..

i am also planning to watch the entire drama once again before i write a review of it here..

on my mission of digging deep into jcw i saw some of his ivs and clips from his appearance in running man.. his real-life personality seems to be closer to DH than any other role he played.. he is always smiling and laughing around.. he is a total goofball and not the cool charismatic kind like in healer or k2 or SP..

apparently there is a lot of time gap b/w his breakup and him getting romantically close to SB but they didnt show it properly.. SB's sister EB debuted after months of training but it might look like she debuted in a week or 2 after joining the group..
same with SB's exam.. it looks like she started studying 3-4 days before the exam but there was a lot of time in b/w.. that can be seen with all the flashback she had with DH while preparing for the exam..
the makers should have made the time gap more evident to clear the confusion..

i think the media is exaggerating this way too much..
the drama is still running and only 2 more episodes left.. didnt see any decline in viewership and is no.1 on its official streaming site..
did goblin also face this kind of backlash? i wasnt an avid kdrama watcher when it aired so dont know..
in that the FL was roaming around in her school uniform for half the drama and they also kissed. she even goes on date with him in a school unifrom.. but goblin is one of the highest-rated kdramas and extremely popular..

the 2nd FL breaks up with the ML on ep 9 and then wants him back again by ep14..

its not a bad copy.. this one has a higher rating than all the reply series..
both are made by the same people, has the same genre and same style of making.. so there will definitely be similarities but totally different story..

i loved jcw and njh's pairing and they are one of my fav.. i also liked how both of their characters didnt care what other's thought about them.. its pretty rare in kdramas as image is a huge thing there..

thinking of watching this after it finishes airing.. i liked the trailer..

none of those suspicion came to the forefront until the revelation..
juri was equally concerned for MY's father.. its pretty normal for caregivers to have concern for their patients, almost everyone in the hospital was nice to ST( juri and her mother were way nicer to ST without any reason but by now we know its because they are generally good people), anyone in the 40s or 50s will quickly reject the idea of reading children's book..
the main reason why everyone suspected the head nurse was because of the actress.. she is not someone who will be seen playing just a head nurse who dont have anything else to do.. everyone's suspicion on her went away when she kind of showed suspicion on that park patient.. the writers showed her being suspicious of miss park only for us to be suspicious of miss park.. after the revelation the scenes b/w miss park and the head nurse dont make any sense..

the only reason DH kept some distance from SB initially and didnt think of her romantically was due to him being in a relationship.. his relationship was the only barrier.. after the breakup he was never shown to have any problem with SB's clingy nature.. she basically behaved like his gf and he let her.. the fact that DH didnt want SB to see him and YJ alone at the store and asked her to leave before SB comes shows he already accepted that he likes her..
they started behaving like a couple from ep 11..
