Same !!i really need to know that after that blood lossThat’s my biggest question
if the father's story is true then she not only fell that hard but also was kept in the basement for sometime before being thrown into the river.. its practically impossible for her to survive..
i wont comment on the head nurse until they show the clear picture on how she survived.. i still feel she is too mentally ill to function like a normal human being..
i loved the scene b/w ST and MY.. the relationship they have is so pure.. i officially declare that i like the relationship ST-MY's bond more than KT-MY's love..
korea follows universal suffrage so an adult is 18(19 according to korean age).. so obviously they are adults..
i guess the media just blew things out and the problems with BR is not that big of a problem like the articles say.. the media just takes comments from a couple of netizens and blew things up.. my little bride is a 2004 movie and the first even Korean stuff i have seen.
korea follows universal suffrage so an adult is 18(19 according to korean age).. so obviously they are adults..
majority of the koreans dont have a problem so i guess her kissing is not that of a big deal after all.. i guess there wouldn't even be a complaint if the actress was someone else other than KYJ.. seems like some koreans are not yet ready to see her as an adult.. kim soo hyun also had a kissing scene in lets fight ghost and she was only 16 at that time.. 'my little bride' was one of the biggest hits in korea and the actress was 17 at that time.. the story was a 16 yr old getting married to a college graduate and even lives with him in an apartment..
korea follows universal suffrage so an adult is 18(19 according to korean age).. so obviously they are adults..
it dont change the fact that the drama was a hit and both the leads won popularity awards and was in forbes list of of powerful celebrity..
the only thing that proves is these complaint does nothing to the viewership of the drama except giving it more limelight and majority of the public dont care.. moonlight had a 20+% viewership and BR also has a study viewership with being a slot leader.
these complaints are from a very few minorities that just need a reason to be offended..
watch the preview.. they are together and she accepted his proposal.. him proposing to her is like a dream come…
she already solved his problem with the career by convincing him to appoint another manager.. she dont have any other reason to say no.. the show does have a tendency of making people think the worst out of the situation and then turning the tables.. you are welcome..
a girl can get married at the age of 16 with parental permission then i think kissing someone at the age of 19 is not a biggie.. also the age of consent in korea is 16 and the female lead was 19..
as i said their main problem was the female lead in a uniform and not her age.. the actress was 17 and underaged when she acted in moonlight drawn by the cloud and she had kissing scenes and everyone loved her pairing with the male lead..
at the beginning this show had a really good vibe, gradually its getting annoying with all the problems and hardships.and…
watch the preview.. they are together and she accepted his proposal.. him proposing to her is like a dream come true for her.. obviously she will accept his proposal..
korea follows universal suffrage so an adult is 18(19 according to korean age).. so obviously they are adults..
it says the same.. someone wrote: It’s 18 by all standards of the western world. Koreans count conception as 1 yr. Basically if in the USA your legal age is 25 on Dec 6th in Korean age you’re actually 26. Then to confuse you even more on January 1st you will turn 27 (Korean age) so for the entire year you will tell everyone that asks you age that you’re 27 even though you’re still only actually 25. Pretty crazy sh*t huh?!
After living there for 12 years I have learned a lot. I too will be back in July.
So if you’re 18 in any western country that is they same thing as being 19 in Korea and you’re set.
someone else wrote: In Korea the legal age(to smoke, drink, etc.) is eighteen in international age. But most people call you an adult when you turn twenty years old in Korean age. And Korean age is counted like when you are first born, you're one year old. And when new year comes, everyone turns a year older. For example, if you're born on December 31th 2002, the next day on January 1st 2003 you're two years old. And once it's 2020 you're 20 years old. But yeah, the actual legal age is nineteen in international age.
so 19-20 in korean age means 18 in international age.. like someone said, born on dec 31st will be 2 yrs old by 1st jan which means a newborn will be already 2 yrs old in korea.. that is he/she will be 20 yr old in Korea whereas 18 internationally.. it depends on the month one is born.. some only gets just 1 yr added to the age whereas someone else get 2 yrs added to their age according to the month they are born..
universal suffrage is universal.. if a country adapts it then the legal age to vote is 18.. if a particular country can change the age accordingly then its not called universal..
in college based kdramas, they clearly show 1st year students drinking at a bar and 1st yr students are usually 18-19 yr olds(internationally)
also, legal age for other stuff changes accordingly.. like in some countries legal age for drinking is 18 whereas somewhere else it will be 21 or 24, legal age to get married for some countries is 16 whereas somewhere else it will be 18.. i guess in s.korea a 16 yr old can get married with parental permission because they showed something like that in the movie 'my little bride'..
korean have problem with her being in school uniform while kissing an older guy and not with her age.. if she was in regular clothes and kissed him they wouldn't have cared as the show made it pretty clear that she was 19 at that time..
Mental health care workers are not exempt from mental illness by a long shot. Many go into the field to help others…
same.. the least the expectation the better the drama will be.. i watched memorist without knowing anything about the drama and loved it.. one of the few kdramas that i didnt fast forward till the end while binge-watching..
Is it too late to petition for eight more episodes? After seeing the most recent episodes (13-14), I still think…
you wrote my mind in a more articulate way.. i agree with everythig you said.. its pretty obvious that SB started becoming special to DH as he learned more and more about her.. also he always liked the undivided attention she gave him.. he never got that from anyone else.. she gives him attention and has his back.. since he was in a relationship with YJ, he never though of all that in a romantic way.. this show might not be one of the best rom-coms but it definitely is not anywhere near bad.. the leads are good and it has some of the best emotional scenes in have seen in kdramas.. they have shown the good and bad side of almost all the characters.. i also like that DH is such real character.. he might not be a macho or an overly charming guy but is very relatable and his actions are very understandable..
I have never been THIS frustrated over a drama. Like are you serious!? I just dropped it at episode 10 and I can't…
there is a lot of time gap b/w the breakup and DH start showing interest in SB but they didnt show the time gap properly.. her sister's group debut after months of training but if we watch the show we will think she debut within weeks of getting accepted.. same with SB's exam.. her exam was a couple of months away but the show makes it look like she started preparing for the exam 2-3 days before the exam date as she starts studying in ep 13 and writes the exam on ep 14.. its only through the flashback SB has while studying we understand there that a lot of time passed.. they needed to show the time gap properly..
all we knew about the director's personal life was that he had a crush on juri's mother back in the days..
i still feel she is too mentally ill to function like a normal human being..
i officially declare that i like the relationship ST-MY's bond more than KT-MY's love..
i think once all the episode airs, all the eps will be free..
my little bride is a 2004 movie and the first even Korean stuff i have seen.
