i also agree with the main couple's storyline. the actors and their chemistry is what kept it floating.. none of their scenes really touched me.. there were only 2 scenes i felt really emotional.. one, when the FL reunited with the rest of the guys and two, when the 2nd ML died. i truly loved the bond b/w the FL and the guys.. all their scenes were so heartwarming.. but i think compared to some kdramas the leads did act according to their age. i remember watching dots and scratching my head watching the way a doctor behaves and the fl from a gentleman's dignity who happened to be a teacher irritated me to the level of leaving that drama half way through.. also there was this chinese drama find yourself. the fl was supposed to be a 30+ successful career woman but acts like an immature teenager in front of her 21 yr old boyfriend.. i stopped watching it at ep 3 or 4.. compared to all that the FL of CLOY was at-least smart when it came to her business and gave it back to everyone who deserves it. its believable that she is capable enough of building an empire of her own..

IOTNBO is one of the best kdramas and if they go like this till the end, it without a doubt will be the best kdrama of all times.. i love literally everything about the drama.. from the story to the acting to the wardrobe and cinematography.. everything is nearly perfect..

FINALLY, THEY BROKE-UP..

YJ clearly two-timed and has the audacity to get mad at DH for his mom loving SB.
also after breaking up went with the director right in front of DH's eye.. i feel bad for the guy but breaking up with him is the best thing she ever did for him. he clearly is not the kind to break-up with someone.
DH is too nice for his own good but loved the way he told SB to always choose the right way of solving problems. i kind of dont mind if they dont have a love story as long as there are scenes like that b/w them. he is clearly the kind of guy she needs for guidance..
the guy i felt worse than DH is puppy.. since we all know he is gonna get his heart broken sooner or later but i think he kind of knows SB likes DH.. SB is too obvious and puppy is a smart guy.
today for the first time i liked SB's sister.. she bared as much as she can with the bullying but gave it back. but i guess puppy is soon gonna have a scandal with SB which will affect her negatively as the journalist might say she got in because of her sister's relation with puppy.. also her photo with the bullies is soon gonna come to bit her ass..

for me the most hated character will be the boss. for my guilty pleasure i want SB to give him a flying kick.. he deserves that. in today'e episode DH's father or sister weren't irritating.

cloy was good mainly coz of the leads.. it definitely was way better than a lot of hyped dramas i saw.. but the story was very normal.. nothing extraordinary.. i still enjoyed it coz it had its moments.. it also had a strong supporting cast as well..
iotnbo is unique in so many ways.. the execution is brilliant and each episode connected to one or another fairy tale keeps it different..

the dinosaur was owned by KT? i thought it was always with ST since he is seen with it even in flashback as well and is very obsessed with dinosaurs..
was there a scene were KT gave it to ST? i cannot remember..

cutting down of dramas due to low rating seems to be very uncommon in kdramas and channels are doing that now due to the pandemic. right now the entertainment industry around the world is facing a very hard time and korean entertainment industry is one of the few who still manage to shoot without a hiatus. right now they wont be having resources to spend ton dramas that is not giving them back the profit they desire. so its not their fault that they have to cut down episodes of some dramas.. atleast they are only cutting down the number of episodes instead of ending shows abrupt and stopping the shots..
both the leads of APOYM are well known faces even though not as popular as KSH. it has more familiar faces than sky castle and SC started with a 1.7% rating on jtbc whereas this one started with a 2.4% rating.. korean audience accept dramas that have good storyline and great acting. even if a show dont manage to get high trp it will at-least be trending online in korea and create some buzz like IOTNBO.
365:repeat the year also didnt had much buzz or high tv ratings but has a mydramalist rating of 8.7 which is quite high whereas APOYM has 8.2 which is abv average which clearly states that majority of the viewers didnt enjoy it as much as you did.. IOTNBO has a rating of 9.3 and the comment section is mostly filled with satisfied audience. KSH's popularity can only give an initial pull to the show and only the story can keep the viewers. look at the king:eternal monarch. it had more hype than IOTNBO.
so even if there are popular actors, only the stroyline can keep majority of the viewers hooked to a show.

i think except healer and k2, all his other works were light hearted comedies or melodramas.. its just that he became famous with healer and did 2 back to back action dramas along with an action movie.
he is good in emotional and romantic scenes and has a good comic timing.. so he clearly capable of acting in all genres..
nothing is bigger than health and if he gets emotionally and physically drained by doing hardcore action stunts then he shouldnt do it.. after all, health is wealth.. also its not like a lot of action kdramas are made either.. i guess after k2, only vegabond was there that was a hit..
he can do thrillers and mystery dramas.. i would love to see him in darker dramas which are not action based..

ya do watch it..

i think jcw is one of the few popular actors that deserves all the hype and not overrated..

i think the fl and the 2nd ml were quit gutsy as well.. there was this big controversy over the suicide of one of the girls in BOF and they were the only ones who openly addressed it.. seeing how korean celebrities dont state their opinion on anything at all i think that was kind of a big deal..

d.o is good in movies as well.. i cried my eyes out in pure love, my annoying brother and swing kids.. he is gonna be the lead in the 3rd installment of along with the gods.. i miss him so much..
100 days my prince is one of my fav.. i like both d.o and nam ju hyun. she is good at comedy.
when it comes to korean singers, my knowledge is limited to exo and some popular groups.. even then i wont be knowing all the members of some groups though i have heard of that group. i am more familiar with idols who acted in kdramas..

i am an exo fan so i love d.o as an actor and as a singer.. he is really talented..

he was in a big controversy with his ex-gf and i guess he even has a child now..
his ex-gf accused him of physical assult and its a complicated matter.. dont remember it correctly.. but i guess he was proven innocent..

i support male and female actors equally as well but its kind of true that male actors and characters can literally get away with anything whereas female actors get judged way too hard.
BR itself is a good example.. the kind of backlash SB's character got.. she havent dont anything half problematic things as some beloved male characters have done.. just take bof as example, the male lead is an actual bully, has forcefully kissed the fl, dont respect the fl's privacy, is dumb af and has done a lot of questionable things. but all these are justified because he has an evil mother.. SB works her ass off, is supporting her younger sister and fights only when she is wronged but got called a sexual harasser, home breaker etc..
even a certain amount of people couldnt handle the female lead of IOTNBO even though she has a legit reason for what she does. if the roles were reversed then ko moon young will be a stereotypical asian male lead and everyone would have been comfortable watching a male character being emotionless and he dont even need a disorder to justify his behaviour..
since i am not that invested in real life controversies of korean actors i dont have example for actors. but there is plenty of double standards for male and female actors in my country. i have heard a couple of kpop idol stuff but i only follow exo and dont know much about kpop as a whole.. but its pretty obvious kpop female idols have it lot more harder than kpop male idols like they get jugded harder for the way they behave and the clothes they wear..

but those tortures are not doing anything for him.. he will experiance torture when she kickes him out.. DH takes after his mother but is not loud like his mother so everyone takes him less seriously than his mother. his mother atleast is vocal about her displeasure even though she endure it anyway..

suzy can be compared to yoona.. they both might be considered for the same roles..

fangirls.. when a drama or movie gets successful female audience tend to be more in love with the male actors for obvious reasons.. also rom-coms and kdramas dont have much male audience. if there is any kind of comparison b/w the male and female leads then some obsessed fangirls will go to any extend to support the male actor..
if the viewers supported the actors regardless of their gender then the successful female actors would have earned as much as male actors.
