That barely happens with Korean child artists. Kim yoo jung and kim so hyun are both child artists turned adult actors so is Lee se young, park shin Hye, nam ji hyun, park eun bin. Kdramas have a lot of child artists successfully turning into actors and most of them can act well.
I don't know what they were thinking with the crown prince and Hana story. He is a freaking child and she is a fully grown adult and double his age. It's uncomfortable and disgusting. This is the only storyline that's bad in a drama with 5-6 other storylines going on. They really screwed up with this one.

Even though mil comes up with evil plans those are never for herself but for her family. If she was a down right bad person she would have never given a blind eye to the female lead sneaking out. She not only gave a blind eye but also don't even want to know what the fl does outside the home as long as she does her dil duties right. She comes off as a liberal woman in that aspect.

Exactly. It's so freaking uncomfortable to watch. That's a freaking kid with a fully grown woman. He is like 12 and she is 24. She is literally double his age. If they wanted to pair the crown prince and Hana they could have made him 17-18 atleast or make hana the youngest sister. What were they thinking while coming up with something like this?

I guess her participating in the politics has more to do with keeping her husband in power rather than herself being power hungry. She is making sure her husband and in the future her grandson stays in power. Going by how she let's the fl have freedom and don't try to tie her up even after knowing she sneaks around says she genuinely cares for the fl. She is the only truly grey character in the drama. Everyone else are either black or white. Her character can turn both ways.
