I think for the first time since watching this drama, for the last two episodes (episode 11 & 12) i found In Ha less annoying. Especially at episode 11, all her scenes were funny, not annoying. And at the 12th episode where they showed her inner feelings and scars, she looks more human. I used to look at her as an alien. No offense, it's just me guys.
Is it just me or the relationship between Seol and Yoo Jung feels unbalanced? Even more after the 12th episode.…
I don't think of it as an unbalanced relationship. There are a lot of things hidden from them, but it is impossible to just let everything out in a moment. Things that YJ is hiding is a big scar for him, and considering all the people he has around him, he had lost confidence and trust in other people. Even if he is telling his story to HS, i believe that he is having a hard time too. And i believe that's why HS hugs him, because she knows he needed it. It's not an easy thing to open up something you have hidden by yourself for years; of course there are still a lot to be told, but i believe HS also want to take time with it. Well, she has to take time. YJ needs that time. But YJ opens up a story is already a big step.
The preview for episode 11 though D:
I don't understand how tvN asks us to wait for 2 more weeks after giving such preview. I need my weekly dose of cheese D,,,,:
I almost forget that i shouldn't believe too much with tvn dramas preview -_- i spent one week thinking that YJ will back away from HS because of the preview where he said that "I first like you because i thought you were just like me, but you turn out to be different." If that's the case i would be really pissed off but wow i didn't see it coming; that actually YJ is going to accept the differences, he still loves her and he's going to match his pace for her.. It was always HS who match her pace with him so it's really nice to see YJ is going to do the same now.
And it's very refreshing to see the female lead stand up for herself and getting bullied by others, though it feels somehow weird, maybe that's just me. Because lots of K-dramas always have this female lead who is being patience with everything, just crying alone, defending all the evil character.. that's definitely the right thing to do but well that's not really how it goes in real life. HS is not that angel and i really like that fact.
just finished watching ep 9, don't you think Seol is a bit too much? she can just lecture that guy. She don't…
Maybe that's because of the images. As we watch this drama, we always watch it from Seol's perspective. So after watching all she went through because of Sang Chul, we feel that it's alright for Seol to stand against him.
But the thing with Yoo Jung is that he is always so mysterious, we never really understand what happened behind the scenes, and the way that he comes out at the drama makes most of us feel that he's a bad guy without any sympathy ^^;; but as the drama goes on we get to know Yoo Jung better and hopefully we can understand him more and stop accusing him as the bad guy.
After watching episode 9, I think I finally see what YJ is. Empathy? Sympathy? Yah. that's the flaw that's big…
Or it could be because he knows what kind of a person In Ha is and what she is going to do with that phone after she took it from her, he admits that it is his fault, because even though he only send a text, he knew anyway what will In Ha do but still let her take his phone.
And it looks like it was the first time he sees those text messages, though Young Gon showed them to him once at the class when Sang Chul and the other later come and found out that it wasn't Yoo Jung's recent number. Well maybe Yoo Jung didn't read clearly those messages then, haha.
Hmm. I really love the series, though i dont have that kind of neighborhood bonds, but i feel really warm inside whenever i watch the series.
I love Taek and Junghwan, i ship both of the couples. But somehow i feel empty that Taek is the one, not Junghwan. Because since the beginning, with all the scenes, deep inside i believed that Junghwan is the one and it is only right for Junghwan to be the one. Or maybe, even if Junghwan was not supposed to be the one, the writers maybe could have done a better job dealing with it. And one thing i feel pity about the ending is that, i like Sunwoo-Bora couple, but i hope that they will focus more on the 5 friends. I feel like the ending was too much focused on Sunwoo-Bora couple. Where is Dongryong? Where is Junghwan? Are they really ended all Junghwan's feeling through all the episodes with that confession and flashbacks on eps 18?
Nevertheless, this drama is a gem for its warmth. I think i might rewatch it.
Bdw i hope Junghwan would have more smiling scenes! At first i fell for Park Bogeum's killer smile but in the last episodes Junghwan keeps smiling and maan Ryu Junyeol is the the true killer! With his smile of course! :p
Are there no news of any extended episodes? We have like 5 episodes left but there are still so many stories that can be explore. I mean having at least 4 more episodes won't hurt ;)
Gosh i am really glad that i started this drama!
Never was a fan of sageuk but this drama is just amazing!
Started this because of Byun Yo Han (definitely with lots of doubts as politics is not really my cup of tea) but the story is amazing, and now i got hooked up with all the casts and characters <3
Yoon Kyun Sang is definitely a jewel. I hope they'll give him more screen time!
