Actually it had nothing to do with Kim Je Hyuk. The assistant of the chief was trying to set up Prof Go because he made a petition and brought trouble for him. So the assistant put the wrench in Prof Go's bag; but all the bags are alike anyway. Kim Je Hyuk knew it and so he said that it was his bag, saving Prof Go from the trouble because it will be a whole different story if it is Je Hyuk's (as you can see people goes easy on him; if it was Prof Go's he won't be able to go off the hook).
And so we had the scene where Prof Go took his bag but he didn't even check if it is his bag; because it's the last bag hanging anyway.. and at the end of the episode he checked his bag and he found out that it's actually Je Hyuk's bag that he took, because Je Hyuk proclaimed Prof Go's bag.

Yes there will be NIF2, the story will take place around 40 years after NIF1 if i'm not wrong.
And MCS really did die in NIF1; i watched an interview where HuGe said that he won't make an appearance at NIF2 (oh noo D: ) as his character had already died on NIF1
But some sources say that Princess Ni Huang might make an appearance at NIF2 :D
