I am one of the people that don't really enjoy politics and sageuk.. But very glad that I decided to watch this drama! I started this because of the casts and never left disappointed; the story is perfectly written and there are no dull moments; the politics which wasn't really my cup of tea are actually the strength of the drama which makes me keep watching on.
Ah.. I guess tomorrow is the end of the strife between Bang Won and Sambong..
Sambong's dialog and expression at the preview for episode 47 though; he looked very peaceful. Sad to send him off but well.. he is tired.
Anyone noticed that Song Yi Yeon's child is the same child actor at Pride and Prejudice? Back at Pride and Prejudice Lee Tae-hwan's character (he is Sung Jae here) adores the kid so much that they were always together, and now they are kind of together again! LOL
Sung Jae's crush on Hong Nan is so cute =D Can't blame him, she's the best!!

Anyone kind enough to tell me what actually happened with Liaodong? The drama keeps on mentioning focus in invading Liaodong. Because I don't seem to find any story regarding Liaodong at Wikipedia except the one with General Choi.. Does Joseon actually success in invading Liaodong and does it has a big contribution to the country? Or is it just a fiction?
For me, the ending was okay.. And that's a problem. It was just okay. I mean, this drama was so amazing! I am very disappointed that until the end, there were not much exploration of YJ's character, which was the thing that I anticipated the most since the beginning of the drama. I always wonder what is behind YJ character, and that was supposed to be the main focus of the drama; or at least I thought that was supposed to be the main focus! I guess I'll have to check the webtoon if I want to understand YJ.
But well, thank you for all the hard work, actor, actresses and staffs!

Well the issue behind this drama was that the PD adores Baek siblings too much.. At least they are consistent with this, by giving the happy ending to the Baek siblings only lol i should've known this since they asked us to anticipate the ending D:
This week's episodes are awesome! Bang Won is still arrogant and cunning, but he's the man that Joseon probably need the most at that time! I was team Jeong Dojeon up until Goryeo becomes Joseon, but I think I'm becoming more to Bang Won directions now xD After Poeun's death, everyone has become twisted that the most twisted character seems the most humane! Lol
And Moohyul.. What more can we say about him? I don't really like saying cheesy things but, MOOHYUL IS LOVE <3 At the scenes where Moohyul almost killed Zhu Di's soldier, with all the screams and blood, I nearly thought "Ah.. is this how Moohyul is gonna mature? (because he was having a hard time in the transition between Jung Dojeon to Bangwon; as you can see also in his monolog and when Bangwon asked him to kill a Hwasadan spy) That might be a good thing for him but will he changed, no longer the Moohyul we knew?" But his request to Zhu Di <3 he is still Moohyul and he will always be.
The earrings and the beard looks awkward on him but he's somehow cute!
Well well, i've been busy these few days that i only got to watch this week's episodes today. And i found out for the first time regarding all the bts story now.
And i am really upset.
I wasn't a fan of Park Haejin, but now i am. This drama's early episodes got me really hooked up with the story and casts. I think Park Haejin really did a good job. I don't know if there will be anyone that would play a psycho role better than him (ah, this is a compliment, of course!) Every time i watch a new episode, i have this kind of expectation of what is going to unravel about YJ today. But indeed, ever since they make YJ an intern, i barely can get any explanation regarding his personality, which was supposed to be THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE DRAMA. it was just like inho inho inho. Inho everywhere and Inho everytime. Don't get me wrong, i'm not an anti of Seo Kangjun or Baek Inho. But i'm feeling really upset about this. I thought this drama was about the truth behind Yoojung, but it turns out to be the truth behind Baek siblings. Yeah, i don't know what and which parts to believe about the drama now.
Let's hope the best for the last episodes.. though i don't expect too much after all this mess *sigh* but i will keep supporting this drama, considering the early episodes and YJ-HS.

YES YES YES! In Ho is not the innocent and the only-a-victim-of-yj-mental-problem. I hope everyone would emphatize more on it :( no one seems to care about that and only blame everything on YJ. Of course YJ is also not innocent on this case, but he's not the only one to be blame.

Bang Won had changed, at least on the worm part. He was very afraid that the worm inside his heart is going to swallow him, and now he is going to let the worms swallow him if that can make him live.
It really broke my heart when Seol asked YJ to be honest and to tell her his inner feelings and thought, but YJ actually asked "Why would you want to know those things?" I think that one line really explains a lot of things. YJ were programmed since his childhood that people don't really care and don't want to know what you are feeling or thinking, just be the perfect YJ. How many things do you think YJ has been keeping all by himself.
