Since 1000 stars, We Best Love and some other BL already ended, I have a feeling this show is gonna be even more popular in China & Taiwan. We Best Love lost its momentum in China after ep 3 but this show, on the other hand, gradually climbed up in China & Taiwan. The creepy stepbrother is becoming a hot topic in Chinese bl circle and even some famous Chinese BL influencers are making videos or writing articles talking about this role. They all like this character. I've said it before. Stepbrothers trope is an extremely popular one in mandarin-speaking BL circles and the show, even with many problematic tropes, proves it again.

Though I don't like this HIStory, this series had been pretty popular in China & Taiwan after that bed scene and it seems like it's getting even more popular after ep 7.8. International fans don't mean much to them now.

The stupid producer cut the most important scene in the drama but filmed the unnecessary extra ep. Totally ruin the flow of the story written by Lin. This season is already filled with cliche but it can be helped by the acting and the logic of the story. In the end, they messed up with the editing. I'm so pissed.
