It's a really divisive show. Most of the people on Weibo and Bilibili gave positive reviews but the rating is abysmal on Douban(The biggest Chinese rating site) The lowest rating in the HIStory franchise for just 4 eps.

In mandarin, people sometimes call others with Xiao, which means little, before the last name to show more intimacy. Xiao Yeh means little Yeh. For instance, in Right or Wrong, Yo Yo called Fei Sheng Zhe "Xiao Fei".
You all know I've been a big fan of this drama/writer. And I've said it before that the ultimate reason of the whole 5 year break thing would determine if this season is amazing or just good/average for me. The most important thing of this kind of misunderstanding story is the REASON. If it's not solid and strong enough, everything will look like a childish bickering or soap opera stun. I've got to say it's now a borderline good/average at the moment. Sam & Yu's acting is the hightlight of this season and the end of ep2 has been already a classic moment in BL history. But I can't say it's on par with Lin's previous works as to the story. I don't mind much ado about nothing storyline as long as it can persuade me. Ep 3 didn't successfully do that for me but I'll see what they are gonna tell me in ep 4, 5 and 6.
To my surprise, the general reaction has been positive. Completely different from the reactions from twitter(Taiwanese people don't use twitter that much ) & Mydramalist. However, compared to HIStory3, it's not much buzz.
