They had a small premiere yesterday for fans who have the golden and silver CHOCO cards. It's an hour long edit for the show. The reviews have been great. People said they thought it might be a downgrade after Trapped before watching the premiere. But it turned out to be a really refreshing and funny school drama to them. No cringe acting or boring plot. They said the student from the second couple would be the one to watch. He got praised the most so far. And the girl role is also interesting and not annoying, unlike some of the female roles in other bl dramas.
Is this actually the last History season? Someone debunk the truth of this rumor flying around!
Nope. I've never seen anything like that from the official. HIStory is doing well and they have gained a lot from selling the VIP and the broadcasting rights to other countries. No other Taiwan LINETV dramas have earned as much as near as this series.
Do your research, read the book, read about the novel series if applicable, know what sort of characters the author…
Lol Why do I have to do some research for a drama? It's the scripwriter and the director's duty to show us what they got for us and give us some explaination through the show. The ending scene of ep 1 made me uncomfortable and we have to shut up because some bl fan fanatics have already loved it and praised how hot it was? And we have to stop watching it because of having issue with that? Give me a break! Just tell me is it okay to kiss somebody when that person is not awake? What if that's a girl's body he's kissing? Would you still say the same? Don't think so. In reality, if it were a straight drama, people would be pissed. But in a bl world, everything looks hot when two men are doing it. Gay people are not for women to fantasize, period!
I mean it's year 2019 and they still produce this kind of scene…we're not in 2015 and 2016 when the bl dramas were filled with this non-consensual scene. I've once said I got molested before on the page of Make Our Days Count when responding to a person who loves Addicted. That's why I detest forced scenes to guts.

I personally hate school dramas, especially the same-old stuff from Thai dramas. He's Coming To Me is the only Thai bl drama I approve this year so you can see how I see them. But HIStory is my only hope for this genre since they are good at making something generic into excellent with some life lessons.

1. They think the visuals of the actors are worse than HIStory2 and Trapped, especially the hairstyle of the main lead...They think it's ugly. 2. They think the story is another Addicted-like school drama which won't stand out from other Thai school dramas that will be airing at the similar time. 3. Some said they wouldn't buy VIP this time to watch MODC after the whole Trapped mess and they think the official is kind of lazy about promoting this HIStory…even the viewing figures of the trailers are not so impressive compared to Trapped. 4. They're now even suggesting the different ideas of HIStory 4 since they're tired of school dramas.
I really hope the team can make them eat their words since it's the director of local fans' beloved Crossing The Line. She won't disapppint us. Maybe the story is cliche but sometimes less is better if you focus more on the characters' relationships building in a simple story.

LOL Fans are so pissed on twitter that even Maki's name is on the top trending topic in Japan right now. Many think they take advantage of the success of the drama and the movie(which is a huge success, gross 2.2 billion JPY as of today and more than 1.6 million people have watched it.) in order to get on the gravy train of the franchise. I don't get why they can't just change the name of the characters and people wouldn't be pissed like that.
