It's a rumor that's been circulated online after the movie version came out. I think after the announcement from yesterday, it's true that Kento doesn't wanna do this again. According to the news from yesterday, Tanaka did say it's the chief who persuaded him to do this again since he didn't wanna do it in the first place if all of the original characters were not back. If they change the names of the characters, I'll watch it. But they won't do that. Ossan's Love has become a big deal since the new Maki joined the drama & movie version. They have created so much buzz and gained so many fans after all these success But it's a big no no to many BL fans that they expect fans to watch Haruta being in love with a new character. I don't think other hit BL dramas from other countries would ever do that. It's like they wanna make money out of the success of the old characters and to see if they can create another sensation with the new universe. I personally don't buy that.

They have been criticized by the local fans that waiting one day for the next short ep totally ruins the pleasue and story consistency when watching Trapped. 'Cuz we all know it's suppposed to be 10 eps but they made it become 20 eps by cutting one ep into two when it's aired and people had to wait for one day to watch the next ep. That is, it's reasonable that they changed the schedule by releasing two eps on the same day.

I can guarantee you that the users of Douban are incredibly higer than this site. What's the superiority attitude here, huh? 8.1 for a drama like this is good but saying that 9.4 is still low for this drama is utterly hilarious. Chinese people are not stupid and you should know it better. As for "the low score are from the homophobic users," it's not even remotely true. I've read some reviews they even compare this to the western gay films or dramas that talk about the realistic gay issues. They gave it low score because they don't like a drama using "bromance" as a selling point. They don't think it's respectable for the real gay people. So it's not all because of homophobic rants. I personally gave this drama a 9 but telling me that it's better than Signal or Nirvana always make me cringe.
LOL It's not even close to the high rating dramas on Douban. What gives you the thought to think that? Your patriotic spirit of being a Chinese? Nirvana in Fire & The World Between Us are the only Chinese masterpieces I can give a 10 to.

LOL If Addicted hadn't got banned, you'd definitely have seen the rape scene 'cuz it's in the novel. Plus, don't get me started with the molesting and kidnapping scenes! Touching other's private part without other person's consent..Kidnapping the person you like because that person doesn't wanna talk to you.. What kind of dream relationship is that? Because it's bl so it's okay? If you change Bai Luo Yin to a girl, the show would definitely be bashed by many. You can always find flaws in many dramas I like but I can assure you that you will never find any unhealthy and forced relationships that are rationalized in the dramas.^^ As a part of LGBT that once got molested by some person, I detest this kind of show.

Best show? I don't think a show that the relationship between the main leads involved with kidnapping, violence and rape can be even called a great show or a great novel. Taiwan is so much better than that. Plus, the plot you mentioned is a typical trope in any romance dramas and that's nothing "copy" about that.
LOL Don't get why many people bash this show so hard. This is one of my favorite Kdramas. Some eps are not that good but the creativity and the plot are amazing. That's enough for 10.
