The truth is the fans attacked both the director and the writer when the show was aired. So what the co-writer said was just lame. She made it like people only attacked the writers. So immature and pathetic. And don't forget the director got serious attack alone for the bed scene rumor in ep 17 which was not her fault at all. She's the one who kept apologizing and took the blame.

My Taiwanese friend did say hurting or killing a policeman was a huge deal in Taiwan since there's one major case that a bunch of young gangsters killed a policeman in a night club. The lawmakers increased the penalty time in jail due to the outburst of fury from the people. So it's impossible that Tang Yi could get away with that after hurting Shao Fei. As for the case of Wang Kun Cheng, I think it's one of the reasons why Tang Yi got sent to jail. Realistically, based on the laws in Taiwan, Tang Yi should be supposed to be in jail more than 20 years. However, it's a fiction so it didn't need to follow the real laws though.
