This was an absolute snoozefest. I got bored and for some reason I didn’t get emotionally attached to the main characters at all. I thought I was going to enjoy this show considering the fact that I absolutely loved Stay With Me which had a similar storyline and vibe. But it turns out to be pretty disappointing for me.

there are some good bls with no kissing scene at all like Kieta Hatsukoi and Cherry Magic. i can tolerate kissless bls as long as they’re well-crafted. But the thing is, this show HAD a kissing scene. they were supposed to kiss but we got a FAKE angled kiss instead. and they didn’t even try to make it look convincing.

"the portrayal of the feelings involved" itself is non-existent lmao. the main leads couldn’t even kiss on the lips so they had to fake it. this is definitely NOT a good portrayal of a queer coming of age.
