It’s just a matter of taste. Because a lot of people think that Never Let Me Go, Theory of Love, and Cupid’s Last Wish are corny and poorly crafted, including myself. There’s tons of better GMMTV BLs that are actually critically acclaimed and way better in every single aspect such as Bad Buddy, Last Twilight, My School President, The Eclipse, etc.

The reason Deukpal passed away in the first place was because he tried to save Yiheon who wanted to commit suicide. And right after Deukpal possessed Yiheon’s body, he tried his hardest to change that kid’s life for the better and punish everyone who did him dirty. It would be so unfair if Deukpal keeps sacrificing himself over and over again for a whole ass stranger. He was literally willing to die for Yiheon but Yiheon INSISTED to leave instead. The audacity to call someone as selfless as Deukpal “selfish” absolutely baffles me. 💀
