Guys please don't judge it because of an age gap, most of the time is about older man7 younger woman but I've seen some sneak peek and recordings of this drama and let me say that their chemistry is AMAZING! He is a great actor and she is too, so let's support it.
I love this drama, it is extremely realistic in the way that says "hey! he is a child, you are the adult, you need to be responsible and mature" also it helps people to see that this relationships doesn't work. Hijiri did it well in the way that she was always pushing the kid away, and when she was falling she knew she needed to stop. Also, I like the fact that she wasn't selfish, she decided to give him his teenager years, the college experience and if they were together at the end it was because he was mature enough. But it wasn't easy and she had to wait, for fucks sake, she almost ended in jail!
I JUST REALISED THIS COMMENT IS LIKE A REVIEW, SORRY: I just watched it and I liked it! Is fun, is really great to watch it when you just want to chill with no drama on it. Now, let's be honest: I think the main issue here for most people is the fact that we are not used to this type of comedy, I usually watch Korean and Japanese dramas, I've watched just few Thai movies and that's why the overreactions and overdramatic expressions of this movie can make you a bit cringe at some point but I think is okay to give it a try. Abaut the main leads: -I laughed a lot most of the time because I can't relate to Sa, she is like this 26 y/o woman that is so innocent and can't get her life together, she cannot stand up for herself and she literally needs to grow up. She needs a character development, all the time I was yelling at the screen like 'SA! wth are you doing?!!!' but I really enjoyed when she started fighting with her own morals and for the kid, (somehow because Sa running for her life is like: you really graduated primary school? PE teachers tell you how to run in primary school) -Bass is just your average teen boy that can be considered a hottie. He pretends to be older but then he shows his true self and you are like: he is a child. But honestly I was enchanted when they showed his family story, that made me think like 'his life is fucked up', is a kid with a father that is a jerk, a mother that is dead, and no one really cares about him except for his friends. So, of course he is trying to runaway with music and Freud might say that it just makes sense that he is into older woman. You gotta accept that Sa is really attractive. -I love Sa's friends and Bass' friends too, they are somehow the ones that try to put some sense in those two. -The second lead Ohm or wtv his name is, is actually not a bad guy, he is nice and is like: toxic masculinity has left the chat thanks to this man. -The dad and Pam are just like igtkm.
Now, now, the love story is actually not dense. They met, somehow have two dates (dinner and cinema) and two visits to his school, then Bass asks her out. Which make you think that is just normal that they fall for each other because they both find one another attractive and start to spend time together.
The only issue I've is with the fact that she spends literally 5 years depressed thinking about Bass, I want, I need her to learn how to be an independent woman because for real. It annoys me, I can stan the weird humor, the silly fights and how inmature both characthers are but I need my girl to grow up. Bass grows up which is amazing.
Also, I was fighting my morals most of the time because Bass is in school but in the story he is actually 18 and she is 26 so is not technically underage (minor/adult relationship) and I get it, I now understand why no one called the police.
I'm dying to watch this one, I've read the sinopsis on wiki and I can't believe the main actor is just 19 years old, Victoria is the most beautiful one but she is already 31 so I do think this is gonna be super interesting.
