She's lovely, great actress and she is so young I can't believe it!
However, is it just me? I feel uncomfortable sometimes when she (well before, right now she is 21) is acting with older males and has to portray some romantic scenes with them. Don't get me wrong, actors are amazing, respectful and they are faking it, I get that, but she was so young in those scenes so it was awkward for me.
She is older now that's okay but when she was barely 18-19 gosh I was like... she is a child, must protect hahahah
Chapter 4 was lovely, the ending is amusing for me and the ML was so sweet and gentle this time. I adore the fact that she can be completely honest with him and he respects her so much. I like it so far, is good.
Just watched episode 3 and I like it, it seems it will get funnier and more interesting. Yet, I'm waiting for the FL's grow, she must learn how to stand up for herself, no man needed. However, in this 3rd episode the guy was in a better behavior. Hell I'm super into the second couple: director and sister hahahahhaha and the little girl is so lovely, her eyes! omg she is gorgeous!
I started watching this as I was feeling super down in my life, I think it was somehow like a therapy for me. I think we, specially adults in our 20s near 30s, worry so much about life, what are we gonna do? where are we working? why are we working? what about love? should we get marry or not? and the list goes on... however, even if we are happy we are not aware of it, and that's the whole point in life itself, you might be happy right now, you just don't know.
This drama was made to watch it till the very end, till the last second, the whole production team left a very important message there.
We all need some healing and we might not know but we are very important too and all mundane things in your daily life are special too.
It was not just about a couple, who were high school classmates, not, it was about each and every single character who had overcome many obstacles in life and the ones that didn't.
I just love it, I didn't wanna finish it, because I knew I was gonna miss it.
I'm rewatching this because I need something fluff and easy to watch these days. Also, I don't know about the bad reviews, I remember this drama clearly, the age gap is huge but they are both grown adults. Yoona was just starting to act and Lee Bum Soo is a very experienced actor. This doesn't have crazy love triangles, is simple and easy, about a woman helping a Prime MInister to get along well with his family while they become family. Also, Lee Bum Soo is not ugly, he is just old and he looks really good for his age considering that he is in his 50s, man that skin is so nice. And he isn't short, he is just average, 171cm is an average height in many countries. However, Yoona is actually tall 168cm and most of the time is wearing boots here, she is really young and flawless which is why many people felt uncomfortable watching them on the screen. Keep in mind that this drama, the main actors even got some awards for the best couple because they got along really well. This drama is good, the ending is like.... gosh I wish I could see them a bit more but is a good fluffy drama to watch
Guys, if you are wondering whether you should watch this or not, let me tell you this: do it!
Give it a try, do not stay with just these comments or reviews about the drama. I think this drama become so famous because it talks about many issues in our society and is very different. This is not just about romance or family issues, this is about overcoming the hardships in life and adulting, for sure I felt left behind in life and after watching this I was like: hell I can do whatever I want, no matter my age!!!
SO yeah, for me this drama was amazing and the actors were absolutely fantastic. Kim Da Mi will be super famous for sure after this, she is amazing here.
I've finished first episode saying: I like the females here, I'll keep watching it for them.
I've finished second episode already and here is my comment:
-I like that Song Ah (FL) discovered the truth about her boyfriend who is a coward. However, that wasn't the best way to find out he was a cheater/coward. -I loved Song Ah's reaction, my girl was super mature in this, if you noticed it had a process: denial, anger, disappointment. And that is a well created character, I like it. Yes, she almost made a scene but that's just natural reaction, she was able to control herself and that's growth. -I adore FL at the end when the "bride" left with her boyfriend and the words she said to the ML, oh girl, I loved those words "whether i look like a complete fool or not you should've at least let me keep my dignity" because yeah, ML was nosy, he didn't say the truth in the best way and that shows their mental/age gap. Which is why this counts as a noona romance. -Clearly, Hyo Joo needs psychological help, she needs therapy, my girl is suicidal and her brother is just falling into the toxic behavior of giving her everything she wants by feeding her dependency. That is just wrong and the main reason why she isn't a healthy stable adult. -Hyun Seung, the ML is far from being the perfect man, I think he has good intentions but he doesn't know how to act towards it. He is a rich spoiled man thanks to his sisters and that's the main reason why his behavior is a bit immature, he is not an adult yet. However, I don't hate his character I think there will be some good development later. -I believe there is more into Hyun Seung's characther, I'm sure there is more in his storyline. So far, I find his sister's behavior and their relationship a bit dramatic, like they are codependent (the siblings). -Now, about the conflict, I feel that this might be a slow burn. They've been working together for a while but for her Hyun Seong is just a kid. Also, she must heal and the gotta grow so this might take some time
I've seen so many comments about the ML nosejob and eyelids blblabla y actually found myself looking into it, this kid looks the same since predebut, whaaaat???? can someone actually look like that?
It is weird, you feel like you were dropped into the middle of the drama.
The male characters are complex and I guess you'll have to bare with it (I had too) buuuuuut I like the girls, all girls introduced in the first episode are interesting, at least for me. I can notice the FL will have an interesting grow up. So I would say, try and you'll see
I don't like ANY male in this drama. Jae Shin is a total jerk and Hyun Seung is an obsessive guy, can I blame his age? or the fact that he is attached to the FL due to the fact that he is very close to his sisters?? For sure he has some Freudian issues, I can notice it and this is unhealthy for the FL. (Yes, Freud, Uni, I can't get over it, Freud is everywhere *facepalm)
I really like the females here, it was a bit short but their friendship and how they supported each other was good, I would like to see a bit more of them later. Hopefully without the need of a male/marriage thing because they're always talking about it (I remember my korean teacher who was on her 30s always telling me that her mom wanted her to go back home in order to get her married, so this is a cultural thing, sadly)
Honestly, just 1 episode and I feel really bad for thee FL, I hope she will grow into a stronger independent woman in the next chapters because that's what she needs. She is already independent buuut girl, we need more for what is coming.

Try watching it, I can't tell if it is or not my/your/our thing, you've to try and judge by yourself.
I'll give it a try because of the female lead, I'm interested in the female photographer as well, really nice character. Plus, I can't stand jerks so I really want to know what happens with Jae Shin
first ep, not sure on this one. really feel like the leads have not much chemistry sadly, and the plot is really…
I know!!! I felt the same way as I was watching it, like they already know each other, he is super into her but she thinks he is just a kid, idk, is weird. I think it will be like a slow burn, hopefully it will make more sense in ep 2 tomorrow
Thank you so much netflix
