If you don't like video games you won't like it, aka my case, I couldn't, I gave the opportunity, I really liked the visuals but it was a No from me :)
Jesus Christ, I've watched this drama years ago, I remember thinking that the girl was adorable and the ML was respectful and it was really sweet and gentle, plus, it doesn't have any inappropriate scenes, but if you think about it, if you really think about it, it is just wrong.
First, the age gap, she is too young, still a girl in high school, in my country you are an adult at 18 and she was 17 Second, the power dynamic, he is a teacher, there is no excuse, this is wrong.
Yes, it is adorable, yep, I know is fantasy, but the feelings he has for her are wrong anyways.
It makes me extremely uncomfortable to watch dramas that romanticize this type of behavior in which a teacher falls for a student, why? it is illegal -depends of the country and age- and overall it is just wrong because of the power dynamic.
This drama, I was able to watch it because in this case, they're in college and he is not her teacher, she attends to one of his lectures -i think very few at the end- and he is just there to evaluate her thesis. She doesn't take his class at all and he is not her thesis tutor. Which is why I fell in love with this drama.
So, all in all, I'll be really honest: It is unethical and wrong to feel something for your students, you might be a school teacher, college teacher, professor, tutor, in any case it is just wrong, you cannot be objective or logical and if this ever happens to you, you better retire, get over it, seek some help and never teach again (specially if you teach in school).
Every melodrama get trashed in the forum lol. Only fluffy romance that does not exist in the real world get high…
Totally, omg, I'm in the point of my life where all I wanna watch is melodrama with slice of life, real things that feel close to heart, even sometimes healing. And let me tell you, ugh, the comment section always suck whenever I go and I've to look really into the reviews to decide if I should watch it or not.
I think the comments and reviews of this drama are really bad, however, I, myself, am in need of something light hearted, simple plot. Therefore, I'll give a try, plus, the actors are good :)
Edit: I hate myself, I really adore Eric as an actor and his character is nice but I saw Derek with his hair, his smile, his disguise and aura, fuck, I'm sold to him buuuuut I know for sure at the end he won't get the girl T_T and he might be evil so I don't wanna suffer anymore, I'm always into the bad guy
Oh jesus, I started this drama years ago but didn't finish since I was too busy with school. Then I forgot about it but recently I saw it on my list. So here I am starting it all over again and I got the same reaction as before:
SHE IS SO FUCKING HOT
and not just hot, her fashion style and personality is so amazing, I love her
'miserable' is a translation and the original Korean word might have different feel? Like some people were angry…
ooooohh thank you so much for this, maybe they should have translate it in a nicer way, because it sounds a bit "rude" to say it and well Ha Won doesn't seem to be such a pity person, really thanks
I'm on episode 2 and I've to say I love Hae In dramas so much, it feels just right to my taste, slow, natural, slice of life, I adore it. Definitely not your typical "I saw you and I fell in love at first sight" I'm on my 20s, enough with that, I want something more mature and real.
HOWEVER, I've a complain, they keep saying Jisoo dumped him and NOOOOOO, they were not even dating, he left so she got another boyfriend and then she asked to meet him to tell him the news that she was going to marry her boyfriend, I feel like there was nothing wrong there and my girl Jisoo did it right.
Plus, she has depression and I feel like she didn't want to bother him at all even if she was "miserable", such a terrible word to say to someone with depression tbh
How does the device work? I'm only on ep 4 and a little lost
I remember a comment of someone who works in IT, they said that the device is something like a machine-learning, like you input a massive amount of data and it learns by itself the rest. Of course I feel is not realistic at all -at least that's not something IT can do yet- but do you remember that robot that can talk as a human being and even make some jokes? "Sophia the robot" I feel in this drama is something similar but just the program
T_T but this spoiler will tell you everything .... it is the Male lead
Ooooh I totally get you, romance here feels a bit out of place, however is not super cheesy so it doesn't feel that bad either. I loved the ML here, he was so smart that I was completely in love with him. Mmmmm maybe watch some action drama? those ones usually don't have that much romance
He is getting into my list of faves. I'm officially naming him as The King of adult romance. That's right, the slow burn, slice of life genre is his, I adore his character in those dramas: Something in the rain, One spring night, A piece of your mind, he really fits those dramas with that genre. Much love

Also, for one second I thought they were lesbians and it was good, a good lie

I personally love mature relationships so I adore this one
