Great Cast, Strong Leads with Amazing Chemistry, Good Script. A Real Win!
I started watching this series with no real expectations. I was on a long flight and needed something to tide me through at least a part of it. The initial episodes were sad and dark for the FL but I’m really glad I persevered!
There’s a lot to love about Flourished Peony: strong performances, a well-paced script, a very good cast, and stunning sets and costumes – the high production value really shows. I especially enjoyed the dynamic between all the characters, but the undeniable highlight was the sizzling chemistry between the ML and FL. Admittedly, the slow burn was at times very frustrating to watch, but the yearning and emotional depth felt so real – a true credit to the director’s vision and the actors’ skill.
