True, she just badmouthed the ml to his other persona and wants him dead - didn't even try yet - and already ppl's hearts are breaking for him bc that's worse than him trying to kill her like 10 times

To ppl thinking she's too harsh with Nan Heng - He literally tried to kill her several times and in the script he cheats with the sister, makes her pregnant, chooses to save sister, stabs her, etc of course she won't like him yet. Her falling for Li Shiliu was carefully planned by their team like Nan Heng wanted her to fall for him at first. WIth Nan Heng it didn't work not bc she's smart but bc she's prejudiced and on guard against him but the same tactic worked smoothly with Shiliu. She's very naive and not really scared of death - remember she died a dozen times already.
What she wants to avoid is the melodrama nonsense and drawn out emotional encounters with Nan Heng and enjoy this chance at living as a rich lady with no work. Thus she doesn't really take anything seriously, bc why would she?
If she wanted to go back to her world fast she'd just go through with the motions with the plot and die when plot says but she wants to stay and defy the plot so she's reasonably still treating everything like a game.
When she gets emotionally invested enough in Li Shiliu and ditch her fiancé ( who despite his ambitions still looks like he cares a lot for her to me but will probably change in upcoming episodes ) then things will get even more interesting.

The first two points are so important! Also Tang Qi himself realizes except for the grandma she used the other identities only to help others and she has constantly gone out of her way to help him too. She was wrong with killing of QST but he ended up in her house looking for the truth and she was spooked at that moment and didn't think it through.
Even Tang Qi realized every time she lied it's because he's scarily persistent

She didn't tell him the truth in the beginning bc they weren't even close and he couldn't trust him with such a big secret. Also Tang Qi isn't a normal person either, Su Miao tried to get rid of him by rejecting him it didn't work so they ( not very smartly ) thought of killing her off. Then in Fang Jin arc she rejected him but he was still very obsessed with the one he liked and the one he didn't like and there being two Fang Jins. It was reasonable from his end but not from hers! If there was such a pursuer and you didn't want him to know your secret ( which he doesn't have a right to know just because he has a HUGE crush on her persona, by the way ) with such a secret and such a persistent pursuer it's scary for Chengcheng too. Just change Tang Qi's face from adorable stray meaow Tan Jianci face with a random guy and it's super understandable why she wouldn't want him to know.

She should have planned better than to kill them off in front of him and perhaps told him upfront they have a secret and she doesn't want him to know.

Also it's a comedy and Chengcheng ultra mega pro gaslighting is hilarious asf and this is a 10000/10 drama and the thriller vibes now are immaculate.

While I don't agree with people villainifying Chengcheng, I have zero idea how they're going to get romance from this point as if I was Tang Qi I would have never trusted her again.

People are saying no one cares or wants to know what Thame wants but that's not true. Mars and Po know he wants the band to stay together. Po knows that, and that's the biggest reason he broke up with Thame. He didn't want Thame to lose the opportunity to go with his members bc of him. He worked very hard to get the band together, what was in it for him to help someone he didn't know to reconcile with his friends? It's because he felt for Thame since the beginning and saw how much he loved his friends. He saw how much the band meant to Thame while they were all planning how to stay together. Pemika told him all that would go to nothing if they stayed together, imagine being made to believe if you don't give up on your relationship your bf and all his friends would not be able to achieve their dream and you know how much it means to them bc you were with them by their side

Pemika said on live tv it would only be Thame going and not the rest of them. Let's say Po didn't break up, what would she do? Probably tell them the whole group going to Korea plan was rejected by the company bc of Thame and Pepper's back to back dating scandals. And then release Po's pictures to the press out of spite and frame it as workplace power imbalance/ groomed relationship and make Po the object of MARS fans' hatred. Then bring up the contracts and the debt to still force Thame to go alone.

Thame says he'd fight for their love, but just like how he wanted to watch the movie in theaters but never had time he wouldn't have been able to stop any of these from happening. As long as Mars in under Oner Pemika has enough power to just bring all their plans down again and again. She's probably the one who got people to follow Thame to get those pictures, so if they only pretended to break up she'd know. So it's simply unrealistic that Po wouldn't break up, at least at that moment and according to what Po knows at that moment from what Pemika told him and from how he saw fans react to PepperGam, and with how much he cares about Thame and how much he knows Thame cares about MARS

But that wouldn't have worked at all. So let's say Po didn't break up. How would Thame stop Pemika from releasing Po's photos maybe painting him as a stalker fan who power tripped him into a relationship? She could do anything she has the power the press and all the contracts on her hand. Thame had the desire to keep the relationship but did he have a plan? And Pemika told Po the whole group would go if he broke up. He wouldn't want to be the reason all the hard work to bring the group together fails at the last

This. If the members and Po are 'at least gaining something ' then by that logic Thame is gaining much more by the end of it... And people act like they knew they were getting those opportunities so they ditched Thame

It was always building up since Pepper got exposed and Gam broke up with him. He saw even Baifern get mad about that and all the hate. Then he got told it was his fault PepperGam broke up. Thame knew it before but didn't tell him to not make him feel guilty but this gave Pemika the chance.

Also, more importantly, MARS. MARS was the reasons Po and Thame started to get close, before they dated it was about MARS staying together as a group. I feel like people forget that. He helped them overcome misunderstandings and shot an MV for them putting aside his own work. Now he's told because of him THEY ALL CAN'T GO TO KOREA. Everyone's careers will be ruined bc of him. And Pemika sounds so convincing too, so Po broke up for Mars. He never was worried about himself or his job. He wasn't worried about fans finding him or losing his job he always prioritized others in this case Thame and Mars. At that point he didn't know Thame would go alone
