confused if I should watch this, shine on me or live between lines. someone who has watched all 3, please advice
Watched and loved all three, shine on me was kind of slow paced but consistent and perfect for watching while airing, the romance was lovely and I loved the face slaps when they happened. The best drama adaptation I've watched in the sense it felt like reading a novel but with the visualizations done for you. Lovely chemistry between leads and very well matched leads which is rare in dramas.
Love between lines was fast paced and really interesting and I had to pause and squeal in delight. Perfect for binging and the chemistry was amazing. Such a gorgeous pair too, can just stare at them for hours. It had many well executed cliches and stuff but honestly was a unique drama watching experience.
Now for The Best Thing, I actually watched this the last after watching those two while they aired, wanting to start a chill completed drama at my own pace and ended up binging it. It's exactly the slow burn, warm no misunderstanding story people are saying it is, without being boring or draggy. I adore both the characters so much they're such lovely and interesting souls which is why I think their story was so fun to follow
So as you can see, I'd say all are worth watching, just start what you feel you will enjoy right now and keep the other two in your mind too tp give them a try later!
Also no drama is everyone's cup of tea so it's possible some of these dramas are not for you despite others liking them, which is also fine
Does the icky mother daughter pair get what they deserve or the story just doesn't focus on them? Does the trashy dad get what he deserves?? I am so so so annoyed by these ppl
I’m really loving everything about the drama, but the one thing I can’t quite wrap my head around is why it’s…
Honestly it's more of nostalgia and in my opinion a result of all the mental stress she had to go due to him, whether him being condescending or her dormmates being shady. It definitely put a lot of mental strain on her, which is why she can not react naturally to him as she would with other ppl. She mistakes this as not being over him completely
Maimaiiii my gorgeous girl!!! She was just a baby when I first saw her in Reset and she's growing up so gracefully! Love how sth about her acting is so genuine and I don't know if it's the right word but unpolished? And it makes her characters so much more real and connectable. I like a lot of actresses for different reasons each but the last time I felt like this about their acting was Wu Qian.
I'm loving this, hopefully somehow it gets popular and the actors get recognition! Loved Li Hongyi since Blood of Youth which was awesome and he was awesome there but he didn't seem to have many more dramas airing, was so surprised to see this is an adaptation of one of my favorite novels and that it stars him!
Wasn't that sure about the FL bc Ive never seen her before but she's lovely and doing a great job, somehow she reminds me of omega Hua Yong with her features and expressions.
I read the book a long time ago but it did seem to be a little different than this which I wish it wasn't but honestly this is still a good drama
I love Hua Yong and Wenlang's relationship, it's one of my favorite parts of the drama. I love how Wenlang has such a soft spot for his crazy friend despite everything and worries for him knowing he has no one else who would, and subconsciously thinks no one is good enough for his friend even if he thinks Hua Yong is crazy And although Hua Yong has limited ability to invest emotions in things unrelated to Sheng Shaoyou, he does try to get Wenlang a lover and also is the most himself when he's with Wenlang- he jokes, whines, shares all his plans with him and trusts him completely. And I think aside from Gao Tu who he cares a lot about but doesn't know that well yet, Hua Yong is the only person Wenlang has in his life. Wenlang says i't a pity Hua Yong has no family to care for him when injured but at least he is there! I'd love to see their relationship
Trust the negative reviews. I gave it a chance because of the positive ones, and I'm hating it so much. The story…
What script will she read properly? The one she had was not a finalized version and only her parts. Also she's not a veteran actress she's a low popularity actress who got into the profession bc she hated maths and science. AND if I read a book where the ml is torturing, cheating on and getting the ml killed I'll stay far away from him no matter how different he seems precisely bc I'm from the present and she's like that too Also she simply doesn't take the script world where she already died and revived a dozen times that seriously bc why should she..??
Best drama of 2k25 . Cinematography, romance , acting, sound effects and script all top notch. I was totally amazed…
Yes, and god forbid a female character isn't love focused and actively wants to avoid emotional entanglement with a potential red flag Loved all the characters and the overall storytelling, my favorite drama this year along with Filter!
Knew he was sneaky the moment he took his mask off
