I like Shen Yi's character development, in the first season he was very unsympathetic and almost sociopathic in his interactions with the perpetrators.
But in this season he seems to have grown more empathy and understanding. I'm glad to see, however, that his twisted and borderline cruel methods of psychologically messing with the criminals while interrogation has come back, it's so fun and Tan Jianci's portrayal of that side of Shen Yi is chef's kiss.
I was having too much of a good time in the earlier episodes without having to see Du Cheng's stupid face but he's been around too much lately can we go back to the earlier episodes screentime please
My patience for DC is gone in ep. 11. Good thing SY is mature enough, ffs...
When Captain Lu was asking Shen Yi to come with him I was begging him in my mind to accept but ofc the writers won't do that, 1st because Du Cheng issues aren't resolved and they don't want to let go of viewers who ship sy-dc
Anyone else were mad at that one s1 plotline where two women off their abuser bc one was pregnant and wanted to get away and the other was going to be killed by him??
I think it's the plot that kinda need some change. They should stop tagging/dragging Captain Lei anymore further…
It started off like that and never got resolved, Du Cheng lashef out terribly at Shen Yi, an innocent witness, and basically traumatized him badly. That alone makes him a terrible cop. If he was that emotional he shouldn't have been on the case. Instead of realizing and apologizing, he continued hating Shen Yi when he first joined. I gave him the benefit of doubt bc cops are only human and the culprit wasn't found, but even later he just found excuse and told Shen Yi to mentally be stronger and NEVER APOLOGIZED. I'm all for bromance, but viewers of Under The Skin ignore the finer details of the plot just to focus on shipping a lot of times. They forget Shen Yi was so close to killing himself in S1 and that he still struggles badly with insomnia, and often I see them agreeing with/ seeing things from Du Cheng pov and actually blaming Shen Yi or calling him immature or careless.
It makes me wonder if Du cheng ever changed. It was his hurtful words, ('Shen Yi should stop painting, his painting…
Yes I was waiting the whole season one for an apology and he never apologized. But then, his character is like that, it'd almost be out of character to apologize. That's why I want to see how Shen Yi does away from all this cop business and how he heals on his own. He thought painting to help ppl would help him mentally but we can see that it hasn't, and instead made it worse
I liked the ending of Ao Li and jingjing case, but I didn't understand one thing, why the hell Ao Li even after…
Entangling with a cheating ex who she found out to be two timing isn't exactly betraying the other girl being two timed more of letting herself get played again.
Wait I totally didn't expect this and binged for a whole night since yesterday this is so lovely and well made and the characters are all my babies like I literally paused to coo over them I should have slowed down or waited a couple days bc now I want more and I also don't want it to end. Why are cdramas competing to outdo each other this year? I liked Are You The One, Rise of Ning, FOF and loved LGIEF and now this. amazing time to be a cdrama viewer
Today we got a sapphic marriage kinda. I'm happy. While everyone is here for the bromance I'm here for the delicious doomed yuri (sismance?) not just one pair but two each season till now hehe
Why is it so hard to allow people to have different opinions about this show? Some people liked S1 better and…
True, there are many aspects about a show to like, like this has psychological, thriller, mystery and friendship. Different people enjoy different aspects of a show more so they prefer different seasons based on which season focuses on the aspects they like more
But in this season he seems to have grown more empathy and understanding.
