As someone who views characters as totally separate from actors I need saint and shin to get married it whether we get sky and nani together again or not.
They are too much obsessed with each other to spare enough attention for a gf/bf. Even if they date someone their partners will feel left out with the amount of time they'll end up spending with each other.

It definitely isn't a money issue. Gmmtv non bls have maybe less budget but way more care and effort pit into them. Still not great but you can at least see that they tried sth. Just a case of if it's sells without effort why put it in? And the ads... there were so many ads in mlmu that the actors barely had time to say plot progressing lines.

And I agree with outside gmmtv shows so much! I tried like three or four shows from other channels and the plot holes were so huge they could swallow up a city. Only one I could finish was Century of Love bc offroad had decent acting and it wasn't dragged out.

I think you could give it another try! I'm not a fan of any actors in it by I was totally impressed with it. Consistent plot and perfectly wrapped ending, honestly didn't expect that level from gmmtv. It's lighthearted and not like groundbreaking or anything but quite touching and one of the best series I've watched from gmmtv all these years. Focuses mainly on friendship and found family though so might not be everyone's cup of tea

Sky looks like Heejin from Loona and Artms in her debut days in the way that both look like pretty puppies

Some people just are bad at something no matter what and that's okay... Except this is literally his job. And unlike a soloist singer who is bad at singing a bad actor can bring down the whole show including others who are good. I'm sure he's putting in a lot of effort but after like 4 series as main lead he's no longer a rookie actor who needs time, he's just unsuitable to act imo

So, after the first episode, I really loved Style's character and how he is written. IF he was played by someone who could act even at the level of joong or book it would have been great but sadly Dunk still delivers his lines like he's reading them off the script on the floor or projected on the wall.AND his 'acting' consists of squiggling his eyebrows in a stiff way, shaking his head side to side and making his eyes flit around a hundred times before saying his lines.

I'm disappointed because I was pleasantly surprised by his slight improvement in Summer Night, because I thought he was a hopeless case who would never improve in acting. This was shot after Summer Night but why did his skills reset to zero again? I think this has sth to do with acting together with Joong, who he is close with in real life. Being close with co actors in real life actually negatively affects acting bc real persona bleeds into the character's, from my own observation. Now from Dunk's interactions with others in gmmtv I'm sure he's a great friend and a fun guy but wow he has the worst ever acting I've seen on my screen. Please can anyone tell me if they've seen worse emoting and line delivery? I want to check it out.

Now on Joong... This guy did okay in Homeschool cameo and Ploy Yearbook but again in this one his acting reverted back to bad. Why does he act all his characters the same way? They come across as downright scary and red flag without any action to support it but just by his portrayal.
Here, it's understandable bc his character was a killer but in the previous two series he was in with Dunk it was exactly like this. I hope he learns how to give some dimensions to his character.

I think gmmtv really needs to stop with the fixed pairing before it kills everyone's acting skills. First and Khao are incredible actors who have proven themselves and had great chemistry till now both with themselves and with others previously. Pairing ppl permanently deprives them of chances to act and deliver different chemistry with others and can plateau the actor's growth. There's only so many different chemistries you can deliver with one person, and after a couple times they're close irl too and that also adversely affects acting.

Also gmmtv has been treating these series' as just a tool to sustain their ships. They need to sell the ships so they're given a series and that's just an excuse to keep making money off the fanmeets, concerts and other events. That's why JoongDunk who are very shippable irl but can't act will keep having series.

Midterm season going on in uni and I saw ppl watching lgief in the library and moonlight in the classroom today... 😭

He is a tsundere forced by circumstances to be sweet... Bc if he didn't speak it all out saint would continue being dumb

Sadly all fantasy cdramas loooooove this kind of ending so I was expecting that for both... I've watched at least 15 cdramas with similar ending, with hopeful open endings with hint of them actually not being gone or reuniting for 5 seconds before drama ends. Now I just accepted it.

I like Dunk as a celebrity and I watched half of jd second series and full of their first one twice. I also think he improved a lot in Summer Night series which made me pleasantly surprised so I thought since heart killers was shot after that his acting would be good here but the trailer showed it reverted back to how it was... I think putting JD together actually lowers their skills bc they're close in real life and can't bring out their full acting skills. Well, trailer can't show it all so I'll give it another chance but if I have to drop a First series bc dunk's eyes flit around 200 times in a minute and he delivers his lines like reading off a script on the floor I'm going to be heartbroken

Sky is such a good actor, his eye acting is insane. I first saw nani in homeschool and he barely had a presence ( which I don't think was totally his fault bc film is a great actress and even she barely had a presence) but he improved like crazy here. Like he outdid 80% ppl in gmmtv

Wish stupid ass gmmtv would give her main roles it's long overdue atp.

This was beautiful. Sad, but that was expected. I love angst like this. I love how they did it here. But honestly yinglei and siheng AND Bai jiu all at once is a bit too much I cried a river with our pretty criers Zhuo Yichen and Wen Xiao.

I'm happy this drama introduced me to how lovely Chen Duling could be, and a bunch of other actors I'll look out for.

Li lun was my baby. He had this naiveness about him and followed his heart. Zhu yan definitely loved him at least as much as his current friends.

Bai jiu my brave child... He went through so much and he's just a baby 😭😭😭😭😭 Ying Lei loved his little bro so much give them and Siheng back to my girl Pei Sijing...

Now coming to Xiao Zhuo daren... Damn, just because he cries pretty we don't need to torture him like this?! First his whole family, then Ying Lei, Bai Jiu and finally he had to kill his dearest friend himself like give him a chance to smile he has a cute smile too... I feel like ZYZ death hurt him the most bc he needed to do it with his own hand, and because he understood the repeated cycle of loss and grief ZYZ had to go through his whole life. But tbh old guy already lived 30000 years it's not absolutely necessary to get him back ... Well... I needed to see him getting ZYZ back actually. Why leave the extra episode like that??? LET HIM COME BACK also let them hug it out once omg

But anyhow we finally got Wenqiao PSJ girlfriends!!!! Also what I've gotten from these two lovesick dumbasses who are in the weird throuple with Wenxiao while she has a girlfriend on the side is that ZYZ transferred the poison from Wenxiao and ZYC took it from him. So... Uh...smart of them I guess...
Also knew Li lun still held a part of ZYZ's heart in the end he couldn't bear to see him die. And that's all li lun wanted to see, that ZYZ still cared about him. Could he not explain that while playing chess? Did they need to kill my cutie Ying Lei??? Sigh
