You're wrong. It happens to me in male focused dramas too. In Duoluo Continent, I very much loved FL, Wu Xuan Yi's character, wanting to see her in more scenes. Does it make me considered that I hate ml character, actor or all the males out there, or the male gender as a whole? Is it because because I dislike the male actor? Not at all! I love Xiao Zhan and his character too. I just came to like more of FL character in male focused drama in that case. His character is not weak, but starts out as immature and spoiled kid. It's more FL centered story, which makes ML kinda supporting role to FL, even though he is actually leading the drama. It's very good drama. Check it out.
