Does anyone know: is it guaranteed that iQiyi is going to release English subtitles concurrently as they release this drama? I guess I am a little nervous after what we went through with Blue Whisper and I just don’t want to suffer that again. I read this novel in translation a long time ago and I have been waiting for this drama ever since, so I really hope we will get same-day English subtitled episodes. (I see that MDL is claiming that Viki has this license…I hope that’s true & that Viki will release on the VIP schedule.)

That’s odd. Viki’s subs are routinely superb. When they have problems, they’re usually minor.

royal feast was kind of dull. i’ve been trying to get into ancient love poetry. i loved falling into your smile. even when i don’t love his projects, he doesn’t usually choose just awful dramas, so i am hoping that the trailer for LitKM is just misleading.

the trailer definitely has me worried. xu kai doesn’t usually pick bad projects, so i’m hopeful… but cautious.

a rumor was posted to twitter that Part 2 will not air until SEPTEMBER b/c post production is delayed, i assume b/c they simply did not hire enough people/are overworking the few people they have working on post/rushed the drama to air too soon. that’s what the tweet made it sound like.

i don’t know about you, but i will FREAK OUT if they make me wait 4+ weeks. what have you all heard??

viu does work tho. but it’s a subscription so at this point i have paid for YT, the app, and now viu. am starting to feel kind of stupid.

I can’t stand to watch on the app and it doesn’t seem to be releasing on Youku’s youtube channel? i have a vip subscription to the channel and was able to watch eps 1-7 on the youku YT channel and now i can’t watch episodes 8 or higher (it says private video). how do i watch?

Trying to get some clarity on something. I’m seeing info that the donghua will complete its airing in December. If that is accurate, then does that mean that this drama can’t air until December or… Jan 2023?
