wow i really enjoyed the first two ep! It’s super refreshing, funny, and just really light the kind of show you can just chill and enjoy. The characters’ chemistry is so natural and charming, and the way the cons are set up is clever but not overcomplicated. Can’t wait to see what happens next, because I’m already hooked!

Kurosawa films emptiness like no one else

I’d say he’s a bit ambiguous. Sometimes you can see his fear and vulnerability peeking through, maybe from some past trauma

yeah!!!She seems to have this deep, dark void inside her, and she brings it to the character so impressively. And Gu Wan seriously deserves more credit for his performance it reminded me of a character from the director’s previous drama.

Yeah, I thought of that too, but since it’s a remake, they might change things up.

as thriller fans, we really don’t care if a show’s rating starts low or climbs slowly that’s totally normal for us. Black Out actually started even lower than this new drama from the director, and it only gradually gained recognition 🥱. Meanwhile, we were just chilling with 🍿enjoying every moment. If the pacing feels weird, that’s literally the director’s style. Same thing happened with Helpless. So if you’re the kind of person who loves sitting on the edge of your seat, you’ll be fine.

im shook by Go Hyun jung as Jung I-sin. Her stare alone is enough to send chills it’s cold, controlled, and sometimes even a little twisted in a morbidly satisfying way. The slight, manipulative smile, the slow movements, the natural tired look without makeup it all makes her feel so dangerously real. Big props to the actress and the whole production team, because wow, she’s insanely convincing.

Queen Mantis kicks off amazingly! The first ep really breaks away from the typical thriller, focusing more on the psychological tension and the dynamic between the mother and son. The mystery behind the copycat murders is super engaging, and every scene feels layered with meaning. im totally hooked and can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.

Black Out was one of my favorite thrillers last year, so Queen Mantis is an absolute must watch with Byun Young joo directing 🧎‍♀️

Anyone who’s seen Going by the Book knows this director loves good comedy, drama, and chaos 😂 With this cast in the new movie? Even better. Can’t wait!
