Taejoong, No Yong Sik, and Eun Bi are starting to look like an illegal little family š like⦠please, An Yo Han, let them enjoy this family moment for once. (even though I panic every time he starts messing with that giant screen im terrified heās watching them.)
i have this theory or maybe itās not really a theory, just something i say that when a show has only 5 or 6 ep, itās kind of a way to test the waters and see how the audience reacts. and honestly, i think this one passed the test. even though not many people on mdl are watching it, i personally loved it. i thought it was rich, exciting, and super engaging. the first part did a great job introducing the characters all of them interesting, especially the last guy who shows up in the final episode. the story was also set up really well. i never felt like something was missing or that there were plot holes. the sword fights, the samurai vibe, the clothing, the way they behave⦠it almost brought tears to my eyes. i honestly didnāt think weād get such a wellmade, versatile samurai series this year.
i canāt wait for part two. i really hope it keeps up this pace, because japan nailed this one. for me, itās an 8.5/10.
Itās incredible how lucky Tae Joong has been so far, and Iām starting to agree with what that inmate said: that Tae Joong has a long life. Because, if we look at it, the guy tried to commit suicide because of the abuse and violence he suffered, attempted to take his own life several times and didnāt succeed, took an injection with substances used as rat poison, and got stabbed probably in the stomach, the back, and the shoulder, if Iām not mistaken. the guy is simply luckier than all the inmates in the prison.
letās see if I got this right: in An Yo Haās mind, a race has to have an accident to be won; if there are no deaths, itās not fun. No wonder he makes everyone uncomfortable even I feel uncomfortable when he shows up. now Iām curious about what his childhood was like. Do Kyung Soo is doing an amazing job as the villain
i discovered Kasamatsu Sho through Gannibal and I was hooked right away. Heās so talented and can pull off any kind of character. I love how heās not afraid to take on unconventional or darker roles. Heās easily one of my favorite Japanese actors now.
