"Cheese in the Trap' conflicts between original webtoon writer + cast surface" http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com/2016/02/cheese-in-trap-conflicts-between.html…
I think a lot of the cast were left in the dark. I read on Soompi that only Kim Go-eun knew the ending. Seems everything was kept confidential. Which, I'm sure that happens for many shows but isn't this overly so? How does your main lead not know that he was cut. If you read PHJ's company's Instagram, they posted a bunch of vague comments expressing disappointment.
Annoyed that they used him to promote the drama, given his popularity in China. Annoyed that they turned a creative piece into trash television with the recent episodes. Definitely annoyed they left out key scenes that belong to Jung and gave them to In-ho, making Jung look bad.
As for those wondering what happened to the scenes for YJ that were filmed but cut, seems PHJ's side were as shocked as we were. There is a separate DVD (not the entire CITT) that is being released for the actor that will have these cut scenes.
Okay... the first half of the drama and the rest are two very different stories. It was going to be one of my…
yeap...It's 2 different dramas. What it is now, is the kind of drama I typically drop within the first few episodes. The depth has become paper thin. It's even more frustrating because same here, it was going to be in my top. That's how good it WAS.
why does inho get so much screentime? i feel like PHJ had more screentime in YWCFTS despite being a 2nd lead there!!…
You should see how scathing the knetz comments are. At least we all share the same opinion. I am very annoyed at the director. Did the original writer not have much of a hand in how the drama story was told? Because there was not another writer (like for Misaeng), I figured they worked on it together. But this makes me think it was not so. What a terrible disappointment.
So Yoo Jung is the next Jung Hwan? They used PHJ name to sell this at record price to China then step all over…
ahh yea...I read that knetz are making that accusation. It would make sense. Stupid sense. But at least I could put an excuse to why they screwed PHJ over. I've been praising tvN for the recent dramas, but I'm about to take back my words.
episode 13 was not good. and no its not good. for many reason but mainly because they stopped following the original…
It's more like Seol not being there for Jung. Jung has done so much for Seol. Right now, he's working hard so he's not there a lot. But it would still be stupid to take that as a reason for not being there for her. She's the one running around with In-ho. If she leaves Jung for In-ho, I will hate In-ho. Does a drama really think I will be okay with someone who steals another's gf? Cause he's already crossed too many borders so far. I hate that people think In-ho is some poor misunderstood fellow.
I had nothing against Inho, but amount of his screentime is really annoying. I got his whole issue. He has problems,…
yea I'm very annoyed, yet again. It's making me take it out on the character, even though otherwise, even with his issues, I was fine with him. But it is becoming the In-ho show. And it made me realize that this is a downside of it being pre-produced. At this point, I would be happy if the knetz complaints could still impact the show.
I wanted to wait until all the episodes had aired before starting this drama but I just couldn't keep myself away…
Glad that you went ahead and started it. This is a drama that benefits from watching along with the community. I love that people can have so many different theories. It's the kind of television that wants the viewer to get involved. I can't imagine marathoning it by myself. :(
I found this excellent post over on Soompi analyzing what Seol might see in Jung. Obviously, a bunch of spoilers as it puts together everything Jung has done for Seol. It's just a different perspective on Jung because sometimes, we can get caught up in seeing only the negatives. And the drama has been pushing us to think that way, so sometimes, it helps to take a step back and look at everything.
