Love love love the casting, especially our two leads. 3 eps in and I'm already putting my hope in this. It's the kind of show that reminds you why you initially got hooked on kdramas. Aside from the romance, I also love the very human touches.

Same here! I have trouble finishing dramas, even when I like them, unless it's airing. At least then, I don't feel like I have a huge mountain of episodes to watch. I thought that was just me. I hope you like it!

Do you dislike waiting? Because you'll catch up rather quickly. lol I like watching while it's airing because it's more fun being able to talk with other fans after watching an episode.

I've read only some of it. Enough to see what it's about without learning anything substantial. I really enjoyed the first episode. :D Then again, I went in having no expectations except for as a drama. I think I will continue to watch it blind. I liked that I'm just as curious about the mysteriousness of Yoo Jung as Hong Seol is.

Still on ep 10 but I'm getting there. Will try to catch up during my day off. Am I the only one who recognized the game Jung-bong was playing at the arcade. Yes? Seems so. :( Anyways, 1988 is my favorite out of the series so far. Hope it doesn't let me down after saying that.

So many great moments in episode 25 but the end broke me. I bawled. It was perfectly executed. And then when he said, "I'm sorry"...

I respectfully disagree with you. You even said she chose a weak boy. Boon-yi said the same while remembering him. So can the blame really rest on him? Yes, it would've been ideal if he would've done at least a little, but in reality, life doesn't always turn out that way. Sometimes people remain silent for whatever reason. That's why we need to put ourselves on each other's shoes. You learn and you forgive.

I think both are victims in this case. Why are more people angry at him than they are at the people who committed the crime (I'm sure that's not the actual case but more people are speaking out against him)? Why is it not unfair that this young boy was forced to make that kind of decision? That event effected the lives both of children deeply. That's why I am also rooting for both of them. Perhaps not to be together. But for them to at least be able to look at each other without such sorrow.

This is a prequel to that so it shouldn't matter. :) I haven't seen it. Probably will soon after.
