Like I said, I never had a problem with the story. :) I did not say I did not like the show or the setup. I was speaking of why the romance felt awkward to me, since that is what was questioned, particularly in the first ep.
I've dropped a ton of dramas as well. I just don't list all of them. I know young people can as well, but I was simply speaking as to why it didn't sit well with me.

You don't have to take it so seriously. lol I do like the show a lot so far. As for the romance, the problem wasn't with the story. But Kim Mu Yeol didn't seem comfortable in that romantic role. The line delivery and the expressions didn't sell it to me. I preferred him much more when things got serious. But I'm like that with a lot of dramas because I require a lot more than a sad setup in order for it to work on me. When you get older, it's inevitable to get a bit jaded.
I don't have a point though. It's simply a personal opinion of enjoying ep 2 much more than ep 1 and nothing more. If you disagree, then that's great and I'm actually more glad that you enjoyed it thoroughly. The pacing isn't so much an issue as the length of the episode is.
Still my favorite this year too. Getting frustrated because I ordered the set and I had vowed to not re-watch it until I get it. ...But they keep moving the release date back. So I listened to the Dramabeans podcast again.
All the other sites like gooddrama take subbed videos from DF and upload it pretty much the same day. If you prefer DF, then there are ways to get around the region block. For example, Chrome extensions like ZenMate.
The lack of communication is driving me nuts. The show has such a great villain played by an amazing actor. Why not put it to use by having great heroes? Sorry...need to vent about that because I want to love the show.
There is nothing wrong with finding meaning in a drama. It does not always mean the person draws inspiration from it. Sometimes, it does. Some of us want substance in our shows. Not everyone got pain from watching the show. Obviously, it was a different experience for you.
To say that an autobiography of rich people is inspiring and this is not is a bit...naive.
Only fools watch this drama. why koreans like this drama shows korean psyche. For me problem with miseang is its…
Toys? This is the internet. I'm not sure how you are receiving this feeling of triumph over a difference in opinions. Insults are negligible considering you do not know any of these people you were arguing with and so can't make an accurate judgement about their character. Don't like the drama? Fine. This drama will not be for everyone and that is what most will say before recommending it. But why do you spend so much time talking about something you dislike. Sounds like a waste of time. If it's because it makes you happy to get a reaction, well then I feel bad for you.
Negative? Sure, it is bleak. But at the heart of the show, it's about hope, dreams, perseverance, integrity and friendship. Those are the messages that are in every trial they each went through. If that isn't how you saw it, that's completely fine. Again, we all have different tastes and ways of seeing things. It's too bad that you can't respect the opinions of others.
Sorry I have to write this, so many feelings. Episode 7 wow, how can a girl be so dumb, I can't believe it. I…
I agree with everything you said. She's become incredibly frustrating to watch, especially in the scene where her mom was chasing after her. I've seen kdramas do this before and I've hated it every time. Aside from that, I do love the show too. I hope with that ep 7 cliffhanger, they'll quit with those sorts of plot devices. If she keeps fooling the people she should be trusting for too long, I'm not sure if I'll be able to forgive her.
Oh and Min Seok Hoon. mmmmm...I saw Vampire Prosecutor a few weeks back and so I can't help but imagine him still in that role. MSH is a total creeper with his cameras but I still love him because he's exciting to watch. Those eyes!
