Hilarious drama to watch if you want to relax and have fun. Scenes with the 3 ex-girlfriends were golden. The story and the romance is a bit lacking, but it was worth it just to watch the 3 ladies and their crazy antics/expressions. The cut was unfortunate because it felt to me that it had them scrambling to wrap things up, which meant less scenes with the exes.
I was holding off on watching it while opting for shows that were lighter in mood. Then I watched 6 episodes in one day. yea...There goes saving it for later.
I seriously hope the drama keeps it up. The pacing has been just right and each episode feels like a mini movie with all the tension. I started it because I loved Joo Ji-hoon in The Devil. He does that, "I'm plotting your demise...you just don't know it yet" well, and I'm hoping to see that here. Well, all the characters are impressive. Even Seok-hoon is a villain I can enjoy.
DAMN IT TVN I TRUSTED YOU WHEN YOU SAY A DRAMA WILL HAVE 16 EPISODES, YOU FINISH IT WITH 16 EPISODES NO MATTER…
Didn't know til now that the ratings were bad because the show has been so good. completely agree with you. :X I feel bad for the cast. They have done a tremendous job.
ahh nearly teared up at the end of episode 7. beautiful, esp with the music. I was looking forward to this drama but never expected it to be this good.
Can someone explain episode 8 for me? in a short summary. It was very very complex. So the grandma owns 10 billion…
They mentioned in ep 8 that the "mute" girl had actual phone conversations with Kang Woo Seok. She acted sweet and innocent to all the men and ran off with their money. Denying money is a part of her act.
I only watched the Love for Sale part so cannot rate it. But as for that part... Well...I saw it more as a movie…
http://jaeraa.livejournal.com/29455.html I dled it from here. It used to be that you had to message her in order to get the PW but seems she recently added it below the links. Let me know if you need help bc you need to dl the parts and use that one program in order to put it together. It's simple to do.
Recap for ep 3 is up on Dramabeans. About what girlfriday mentioned...I hope the show sticks to its original plan considering how much I enjoyed the first two episodes. We always laugh about how kdramas are filled with the same tropes and this is partially why. When the writers actually try something new, they are met with excessive complaints. There are plenty of other shows airing now if you find this boring. The rest of us actually enjoy it and would like to have a show that fits us. I'd hate to see this show altered for the sake of those who never "got it" in the first place.
Elegant Lies is a sad but nice movie. Coffee Prince is still one of my favorite romcoms.
