I discovered him in "Best Time" and went in search of his dramas and found the TLTSILY Kiss Collection on YT.... I watched that drama raw the 1st time.
Actually, Wallace is the only one I watch raw.... I also watched his version of "Secret Garden" and a mediocre dance movie.... Just so I can see him in action!
He's a great dancer by the way!
For me, his looks are just OK! .... It is his charisma aand acting that make him super smexy to me!

Wallace is perfect in "My Sunshine", but towards the end, I think he even got bored.
He plays a stone-faced, cold lawyer who does not show emotion.... the role needs a passionate skilled actor like Wallace - he uses the slightest gestures, like a twitch of the neck, or a frozen smile to express all the pain, torment, and love/hate angst seething within him just waiting to explode!

--- I just finished "Sound of the Desert" and absolutely loved it .... The main reason is I loved the main character, Wei Wu Ji. He is the perfect man, and perfectly made for the heroine. Great Romance, beautiful story.... Some minor problems w/ the writing, but the romance is well worth it .... For me, SotD left a bigger emotional impact than BBJX!
--- Also, if u don't mind the subject matter, Lau Hawick is phenomenal in "Sealed with a Kiss"
--- He also has 2 great shows coming out: "Lady & Liar" and "The Cage of Love" by the same author as BBJX.
--- I love Wallace Chung and Janine Chang in "Best Time" .... They have great romance with witty banter and 1 perfect male lead.... Stupid side stories, BUT, the acting, their chemistry, and the romance make it worth watching!

Imo, one of his best roles is in "Too Late to Say I Love You" .... a few episodes are subbed on Viki or YT (Ep10, 14-19, I think).... the only complete subs are in French, if u understand it!
BTW, like u, I absolutely fell in love w/ Wallace C. after "Best Time" and couldn't find anything subbed except the few episodes of TLTSILY.... I loved his performance and the show so much, I ended up watching it Raw... The first and only time I had ever done that!
I re-watched it recently, when French subs were found ... I absolutely recommend it for any WC fan!!!

I don't think I ever saw a couple that perfectly suited each other more.... Wei Wu-Ji and Xin Yue are made for one other!
This drama was really great for the first half , then the writers went CRAZY ,to please the audience who wanted…
I agree that the second half was not well thought out and it seems that they suddenly decided to cut Joo Jin-Mo's role, needlessly! ... and several things don't make sense towards the end.
However, I disagree about the Emperor's character!!! ..... The Emperor went through great character development, and he went through all the necessary stages from an immature, insecure child w/out purpose to a mature and wise Emperor!.....
He needed to go thru all those stages, and they made sense for his psychological development.... and JCW did a wonderful job expressing the complexity of his character!
Too bad Joo Jin-Mo's role was cut short.... He's a mature and talented actor and the King, w/ his political controversy, could have contributed much more to the drama than that whole conspiracy mess that unfolded in the second half!
