Good Choices!...Harmonium is very touching!
Well of course Jang Hyuk can dance! .... Did you see him Tap-Dance in "Please Teach me English"? ..... and he is a martial arts pro! .... Amazing combination to see him do both!!!
I can't think of any other actor that is as excellent as he in both dancing and martial arts.<3
All great choices!
"The Good, the Bad, and the Weird" however, left me not completely satisfied.... I don't recall the exact reason.... Loved it all, but it didn't make a large emotional impact and I didn't care deeply about the characters (except for "Bad", his character was more complete) ....
Still, it's very enjoyable and worth it just to watch those three actors, and the action scenes were great!
Awesome Job!!! .... Great Stalker's guide, filled with details...(btw, I like your honest opinions :D)
I am happy you finally got your chance to write it! I could not imagine anyone else doing it. XD
Anyone know where I can find it w/ subs,??...doesn't have to be English!
Thank you! .... You must be more excited than I am.. XD
I am hoping this is a sign that Wallace Chung is finally receiving the respect and popularity he deserves..... as more of his older dramas are finally being subbed.
Rainruma can you plzz provide any other best lakorns to watch....bcz i dont know how to check the stories...this…
SB is my favorite lakorn: the best written and the best acted.... I have not found anything close. Nonetheless....
If you like Ken as a bad boy:
---->>> "Nung Nai Sueng" 2005 ---- Ken & Janie --- Ken's an immature bad-boy again, but no abuse... Just lots of verbal bantering and love/hate angst n jealousy.... good supporting characters , good writing!! .... An old-fashioned lakorn, so no craziness...
Fun banter, reminds me of Old Hollywood Rom-Coms . .....
If you like Slap/Kiss, Love/Hate angst, revenge ...The best that I've seen:
---->> "Buang Ruk Gammatep" ---- Pong & Bee --- Best female lead!!! ...Very spunky ... a good match to his tough n scary persona..... Lots of fun antics, tit-for-tat....good writing, very little filler, so good pace..
---->> "Ngao Hua Jai" ---- New & Noon --- Well written and acted... good story, everything makes sense...very good romance w/ plenty anger, revenge, Love/Hate angst/jealousy.
--->> " Proong Nee Gor Ruk Ter" (Tomorrow I'll Still Love You) --- Pong & Aom P. --- Good couple ... Pong is very good at showing the pain, longing, jealousy, love/hate .... side-plot and side characters get too crazy tho :P:P .... but main story is very very good!
--->> "Bow see Chompoo" --- Chakrit & Angie --- Sizzling hot chemistry .... She's the player ... he goes crazy seeing all the men around her ... good characters and writing.
---->> "Wimarn Sai" ---- Chakrit & Bee --- Short and fast Pace ... good writing (minus 1 glitch in ep 2) .... Lots of Jealousy/Angst ....Best part is watching Chakrit struggle w/ the torture of believing she is his brother's woman ...
Newest lakorns:
---->> "Mai Sin Rai Fai Sawart" ---- Tui & Kwan --- Intense, passionate, revenge, love/hate angst .... It is still airing and subs are not complete...
---->> "Mafia Dragon Blood" series ----
#1 --- "Suer"/Tiger ---- Ananda & Kim --- Great chemistry, Lovesick romantic .... ... BUT, Contrived plot, so-so writing.
#3 --- "Krating"/Bull ---- Ken & Cherry --- for fans of vengeful Ken.. consistent story.
EDIT:
---> "Tangpan Gammathep (2000)" ---- Andrew & Janie... good writing/story/pace ... lots of angst/jealousy... Well worth watching the Lovesick Andrew.
EDIT:
--->>> "Look Mai Klai Ton 2000" ---- Andrew & Kob.... among top 3 lakorns in Writing, Acting, Complex Characters .... Mature Love .... complex family dynamics ... Unlike here, P'ek, Chanon, is very mature, reasonable, calm ....
.... .... Two most complex characters Kawee and Chanon .... very interesting to see what drives them ... If Kawee is a raging storm in every scene, Chanon is still waters that run Deep.
Both YouTube channels below are using the Viki subs:
I hope everyone watches on Viki and ENCOURAGES the VIKI TEAM to continue SUBBING OTHER WALLACE CHUNG DRAMAS!!!!
He's an excellent supporting actor.... Natural acting w/ good sense of humor!
He seems to always have chemistry with his fellow male actors, a talent that strengthens any script. Especially love his chemistry w/ Andrew: the best father & son... Cold sarcastic remarks to hide the affection inside...lol
LOVE THIS ARTICLE!....Great idea. :D My list of Favorite and/or Unforgettable Bad-Boys...XD Perfect Bad-Boy: Wei…
OMG!!...How in the world can I forget about Ken's upcoming lakorn?! ..... He's the Raging-Bull!
Ken is the epitome of a bad-boy , b/c he always has that boyish charm and smile ....
---->>> Ken = Vulnerable Bad-boy
Whereas favorites like Wallace Chung, or Chakrit, always have a confidant manly-man aura about them!
---->>> Wallace Chung and Chakrit = Smexy Bad-ass Bad-boys
Good story... and nice to see four veteran actors as leads.
I didn't mind that he was childish and unreasonable w/ his vengeance; after all, why else would he be called a 'Hateful male lead'? ..lol
Her motivation is a little contradictory, but again, I understand - she's torn between love and guilt.
It is Very Refreshing, and very nice, to see such Maturity in the second leads!! ..... not typical lakorn formula and it is a good thing! .... However, I was disappointed by how quickly they both changed tracks!
My major complaint however, is that Tik's acting wasn't as emotional as it perhaps should have been.... .... I think there is chemistry b/w him and Anne, it's just that his acting was not very expressive...
Maybe it was the script that needed a bit of streamlining, to make better situations for more tension? .... because even my two favorite supporting actors (Boy & Montri, who always shine) didn't have much to express and play around with.!
LOVE THIS ARTICLE!....Great idea. :D

I am sure there are a host of Japanese Bad-Boys, but I have not seen enough doramas yet!
This drama was a waste of my precious time. I don't know why I watched it and I watched it from beginning to end…
The ending in the book is that she returned a year later from her studies abroad, they got married and had a family.... In fact there is even a follow up novel about their married life called "My life with a Beast" ..... That is the nickname she gave him b/c he was a beast in bed ;)
I did not like the follow-up miniseries to the drama :P
If someone is still looking for eng subs i found the first 29 episodes on youtube and i think also ep 31 :) here…
EDIT: All YT links (and Viki) have now deleted the videos !!.... I have noticed it is better NOT to post a Direct Link, especially if it is YT .... A preferable option is to list Title of video or of the playlist and name of site .... people can then search on their own.
Side Note: If you want to see a great actor be amazing as a ballroom dancer and teacher watch Wallace Chung in "Duel for Love"!
Flamenco: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfuX1Bka1ww&ab_channel=%C4%90%C3%ACnh%C4%90%C3%ACnh
But, 10 minutes are missing (Ep.8 part 8), so look for it without subs.
EDIT: I removed direct link, b/c I noticed videos often get deleted afterwards.
I have seen many dramas since I first saw TPM a few years ago.....Nothing has even come close to this!!!
I first saw him in "Punch", he made a huge impression and has not let me down since. Love him! <3
