Ep. 33 had to have been a rage bait episode or something because aint no way did we FINALLY get 1 inner monologue from Ye Pingjun just to have her run away and make us conflicted. I'm tired of arguing with myself lol. One minute I understand the next minute I want to pull my hair out.

Did you catch up to her? We need answers from her. Lol. I understand her for wanting to leave too but yes, baby Yu should be top priority. She obviously is super conflicted and can't decide so what does she do, ups and run instead of facing the problem head on. So while I know she needs some fresh air to clear her head, I hope she comes to realize how rash her choices were and make smarter decisions.

Not sure if you're 1st statement is sarcastic or not but if she does have the 50 questions in her head, I need her to ask the important ones. For that particular part, I can see why you'd cheer for him to let her go but he was in the wrong & I think going off to explain to her would be best bc as Li Boren mentioned a while back, it's unfair to him too if she continues to see him with her bias. Not all but some of the choices he made i.e. lying to her about the past & marrying her for protection was circumstantial. There was no one right choice to make at the time so he should be understood for that part from Pingjun. BUT, I will have to agree and say this time around she should be the one to walk back to him. She made the choice to run off so she should be the one to make the first move.

Communication is not there thing. As much as I love that others like Li Boren & 4th sister are helping to clear the air, why does it always resort to that when the going gets tough?

Have they both not realized that communicating leaves less confusion & heartbreak? I understand its an overwhelming truth for YPJ and she needs a break but to completely uproot & not face the reality is unfair. I hope that she realizes when she's on her break how drastic her move was. Same for YCX when he was just going to let YPJ leave. He loved her enough to let her make her choice but didnt think to fight for what they had established despite being bold to make the choice to go along with the lies. The bigger issue at hand is there communication. And unfortunately, we're back to square one watching them in their
loop of miscommunication.

As an unofficial auntie, I can't help but worry for Baby Yu. There are so many snakes out there ready to use her as a weakness for YCX.

Ahhh see that's the point that got me. I was so torn because you're right. It was her mother. The one who endured all of the pain so Pingjun wouldn't have to. It has to be overwhelming to face such a harsh truth especially knowing that you've been with the one person that caused the pain. I love them but the reality check can't be denied either.

Ok if YPJ leaving and cutting him off happened prior to her amnesia arc and Changxuan caring for Pingjun for 2 years, I'm sure I would have been more understanding and maybe even cheering her on a little harder but after all we've been through with them the show wants to rip our hearts out with YCX. The anxiety is back! I'm torn once again. I won't deny that I also fell into the trap of being sucked into their sweetness but deep down, I still couldn't shake off the idea of what would happen when she regained her memories and now here we are. 😬

I'm not super upset at her bc that is a lot to process. I see that she still loves YCX but as she mentioned their entanglement spiraled to all of the events that were life changing which we were also well aware of. I'm sure she believes YCX wouldn't have started that fire & kill her mom but again, the darn button is in the way. She definitely needs time to think it through but she also just uprooted with who knows what plan is in her mind. Since we know how many vipers are out there to ruin YCX, I can't help but worry.

The only thing that's gnawing at me is the fact that she didn't get to tell him about the baby. I know it'll be harder for both of them to stop being in each others lives if he knew baby existed but oh how I wish he heard it from her. Gosh darn it. This really is too cruel. Why do you do this to us writers?! 😭😭

Ahh ok. Yes! The frustration is very valid during this arc you're at. For the childhood friend, she cut him off romantically but still saw him as family since he practically was a big brother to her so I think that's the only reason she let him plan to leave with them. Otherwise, she did deny him to go with them.

Oh, I was talking about not being able to watch the military scenes bc of Xueting but have you caught up to the latest episodes? She becomes the true tiger once she opens up to YCX 🤭

but do we think the kid is Zening or the kid he has with Pingjun? I'm hoping its the latter but if its Zening, I will be so sad.

Also, I've been meaning to ask but Cheng Lei posted a birthday cake photo and I hope that this is a hint for a more comforting end.

I've always been a drama watcher that doesn't skip or fast forward scenes but this one might be the one time. His arrogance is the worst and while I hope that Changxuan takes him down, there's no telling what could happen with his backing. I'm already getting dizzy thinking about all of these vipers. Just hearing him talk leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Oh, that's true! It'd probably be one of those things where he might even send someone to go rescue her for him.

Never in my many years of drama watching do I want to skip scenes so bad. Xueting and Ziyi make my eye twitch. I enjoy the military parts as much as the romance but I can't even bear to watch the military scenes now that the snake is back. It annoys me how prideful he is. 🙄
