What an interesting turn the plot is going. I am curious what they will go when are at episode 33 of 40. Very…
The BIL plot got dragged a bit too long for me. I know he's waiting on the right time to pounce for revenge, but now I might start to understand why even his sister is impatient.

Simply put, deep down Changxuan would not. But this is a tricky one. While I agree that he is more stubborn, he's…
LOL. I was thinking the same but if it was YCX he would definitely try. And I think that's something that he struggles with. He wants to be the upper hand but he's obviously got to see that it can't always be that way. So when he truly gets cornered to make a choice what do you think he would do?

So I've avoided reading anything for the ending but I feel you on this one. Even if i dont know, I can't bear…
I saw so many post but I skipped bc I knew my heart wouldn't be able to take it. I will be praying the ending they choose is the one that will not leave a whole in our hearts.

I just finished watching this episode. I saved your comment so I could respond.I, like you, am so impressed. I've…
You're so sweet for saving my comment to come back to. ❤️‍🩹 but I definitely agree with you. I've always been enamored by his acting but the emotions in this very particular episode blew me away. We didn't see Cheng Lei. We saw a broken Yu Changxuan who got slapped in the face with reality. And to be able to communicate those emotions for the audience to be able to feel is not an easy task but he nailed it!

After episodes 31 and 32, I’ve been diving deeper into MingXuan’s character, and honestly, no wonder he fell…
Simply put, deep down Changxuan would not. But this is a tricky one. While I agree that he is more stubborn, he's also a fighter. As we've seen from the start he's always been one to believe in and fight for independence. Hence the entire plan of trying to be their own stand alone army or even trying to be his own person instead of a shadow of his brother. I see it as, Changxuan would find a way to protect the city while still being able to keeping Pingjun by his side. He's always finding alternative ways to be in the upperhand although some times it will be out of your control. I've always felt he's struggled with seeing the big picture or facing the reality of it. So while I know he wouldn't, he'd definitely fight to try and benefit both sides. Hopefully this makes sense 😅

The better twist would be that we were set up for a tragedy but they gave us a HE instead as we deserved it too…
Exactly. We deserve at least that. It would wrap up the character growth we've been heavily engrossed with from the start for both of them.

I'm pausing until we get the express, and then I'll decide what to do with it. I really hope we get a happy ending.
Real on the overdoing it in the anxious department. LOL. I can't start an episode without holding my breath before pressing play. 😂

The collective fear of the series finale is growing by the day in this forum. You can practically smell the tragedy…
The better twist would be that we were set up for a tragedy but they gave us a HE instead as we deserved it too lol. From the beginning, I was ok with it not being a HE so long as it made sense bc of all the circumstances we were shown but after all we've been through with YCX and YPJ, I can only pray we get a well deserved HE. 😭

Ohh, this feral cat… 🤭 She likes to play with fire, but the moment the sparks fly and the mischievous fox…
Well I guess the bathroom scene made up for it bc she definitely stirred the pot in that one. Lol

For the first time I actually wanna fast forward the show. They just annoy me

Title The Lament of Autumn Spoiler
OMG! Bring back the curtains. 😳😳 LOL. 🫣
Ye Pingjun you naughty woman. 😏 You set the fire a blaze lol!! That gaze from Yu Changxuan was definitely a hungry look.

Jiang Xueting and Tao Ziyi have made their appearance. 😬 This has to be the start of Pingjun's memories coming back. I'm already spiraling thinking of all the possibilities that could go wrong with this meet.

I'm a big fan of Cheng Lei so I've been following this project since it was announced. I don't regret it one bit…
To be fair, the closest I felt to being this obsessed was "The First Jasmine" from this past summer but I don't even think I was as immersed with that drama as I am with TLOA. I don't think I'll be getting out either. I'm bracing for whats to come bc I feel like it will leave us drained regardless of the outcome.

Title The Lament of Autumn Spoiler
I can't get over that scene in Ep. 30 when Ye Pingjun told Changxuan she just wanted to be together. I'm just as happy for those sweet moments but the confession really stood out to me. We've been so immersed with Yu Changxuan's journey that even YPJ's words heavily impacted me when I heard it. I was in shock and had to do a double take. I was tearing up because from the start I've just been hoping and wishing Pingjun would be honest and listen to herself. She needed to make choices for herself. Despite the different worlds, bias and reluctance, Ye Pingjun's finally opened her heart and broke down her walls. She's finally made the choice on her own to love Changxuan. 😭😭
