Oh - it seems I have seen most of them then haha - though I though most of them ended a few months ago (unless lockdown has completely warped my temporal perception - which is very possible). The Pinoy ones I have been struggling with - not because they weren't really good but general pandemic related stuff has been messing up my mental health recently so I probably will need to re-visit them at another time...

Ho Rang and Won Seok's relationship was my biggest issue with the show. Maybe I'm just not a fan of the screamy female characters. Or maybe as I watched the show it really felt like that relationship was going nowhere. Like I knew they would not stay broken-up (kdrama logic), but towards the end I found myself wishing they would.

Before the Untamed I had never watched any Cdramas - I had mostly only watched Kdramas and Thai dramas - and none of them were historical. So it's safe to say that it is 100% possible to love this show with no prior experience.

I really loved this one - but at the same time have making slow progress with it since I've noticed that pandemic related tends to trigger my mental health. It is really such a shame that I am struggling to watch it - since the show is really well made and adapted so well to fit the current situation!

All I can say is that after watching The Untamed - it took me a long long time to move on to another show because I just kept re-playing the drama over and over again. I will say is you won't get overt BL because of censorship laws in China - but even then The Untamed has so much to offer - so I would definitely suggest you give it a shot!
