A fairy tale ending. It ended as unpretentious as it started. A beautiful slow burning love story. It will probably not please many BL fans for its simplicity and lack of skinship, but each and every episode put a smile on my face and filled my heart with joy. And I loved to finally see a mature gay couple finally being proper represented on BL series. It's no doubt a 10/10 for me.
can anyone enlighten me why the teddy bear says "ha" in almost every sentence? i never heard him say khap. hehe
isn't it "Khap" (ครับ) ? It's the polite way for male speakers to talk to someone older than you or to address someone from a higher status. "Ka" (ค่ะ) is the one used by female speakers.
if you would actually read my prev review, you would know that i write "those that i've watched so far". Don't…
No, you didn't say that. You talked about the series as a whole (as you're still doing here). Yet, you have only watched four episodes of the series, isn't that right? So, first of all, you can't really compare the two versions since you haven't watched the first one, and, second, you also still don't know what happens after episode 4, so... er... talking about the writing like that doesn't seem really fair, does it? finally, you shouldn't have deleted what you wrote first. you should've only edited it so everybody could see what you wrote and what I was complaining about on the first place.
Meeting everyone's satisfaction, it seems like all the technical issues related to the coloring and lighting of the first version were all fixed in this new version aired on YouTube.
They definitely changed the director for these last two episodes. There's no other explanation. What started as a very mature and compelling series came to an end as any other ordinary series about faculty students. It felt like I was watching a completely different series. They even censured some kisses??? It's such a shame because one of the strongest points of this series was precisely the maturity of the relationships and the different dynamics of the characters. I'm so disappointed 💔
PS. Still, this is one of my favorite Thai BL series released in the last couple of years. They really raised the bar here in terms of production, acting and cinematography.
OMG! This is one of the best Thai series I've ever seen. The first episode left me speechless and yearning for more. The mood of the series is phenomenal and I'm really enjoying the incidental music.
PS. Nut should be in jail, because he stole my heart
This show has me by the throat I’m- the first episode kinda made me iffy about it cause I don’t like “stalker”…
I'm with you. I still think the story is very lame, but they are really selling this couple. I can't help but think that they were born for each other.
In a very disturbing way, this series is giving us the perfect pairing/couple: a low self-esteemed, delusional stalker (Toh) and an over possessive, always horny guy (Nuea). Their relationship will most certainly never be boring 🤣
Maybe it’s been too long since I’ve watched 1000 stars. I thought Phupha didn’t care for Torfun romantically,…
Oh, sorry. I was agreeing with yours. The whole point of 1000 Stars was Tian finding out that HE loved Phupha because "of his brain" and not because of "Torfun's heart" (and everyone in the village knew Phupha was gay lol)
Maybe it’s been too long since I’ve watched 1000 stars. I thought Phupha didn’t care for Torfun romantically,…
Yes, he didn't. He literally said to Torfun that he only saw her as a sister when they were in the mountain and that's why her wish was for him to find love.
It left me speechless as well. I was WTF she really fooled us
Jan acting was a surprise for me as well. By the next eps you'll be totally in love with her.
Regarding the bad acting, the only bad acting I saw in this series was the supporting cast (the guys from the farm, but he wasn't that good in 1000 either and the auntie and uncle). Aside from that, the rest of the cast is very good. They're playing the characters like they were written.
PS. I'm so happy you gave it a chance. Get ready for a wonderful ride. :)
About the story, its premise and the differences between the novel and the series:Well, it's a fantasy story about…
Although I don't agree with some of the things you've said, I completely understand your points and to be fair yours is the first comment I read here that actually gives this series a fair and proper review – pointing out the right issues and looking at the whole picture. I was really glad to read it.
As you well said, your point of view comes from your cultural background and so does mine, then both of them are understandable.
I really hope they've had the chance to fix all the technical issues that you've point out, because they were basically the only things that stopped me from give it a honest 10/10.

When I mentioned "Not Me", I was talking about the fact that Anucha changed Gram and Black's relationship and many people who have read the novel were really pissed about that.
And about the "I keep wondering what some of you would do if you were in their position..." I was talking about being in Korn and Win's shoes. Looking at the whole picture and forgetting Earth and Mix, if the person you loved were trapped into another's person body and you two just had been through A LOT together, wouldn't you forget everything and just kiss them? You would get conscious after the kiss (that's what happened with Win), but in the heat of the moment I pretty much doubt you would reason anything.
Yes, we see more Mix than Jan, even though it's supposed to be Lin's body out there - I don't know how this is depict on the novel, but here, in the series, let's just think that Korn is the only one that sees Win and not Lin and that's because he sees what is inside and not outside (again, this is a fantasy story!). The intimacy portrayed between Korn and Lin up to episode 9 is purely friendly - it's something that they were used to do to each other before the accident (even after they go back to their owns body, Lin jumps on Korn and starts hugging desperately, making Win think that Lin actually has feelings for Korn and, consequently, making him step away from korn). Most of the clips that were on the internet are from flashbacks of Korn and Win, from way before they have fight, and they're there to show the audience that they have always loved each other but they were the only ones that didn't see it.

PS. I honestly didn't see that plot twist coming and it shook me to the core. I knew she was overprotective, but they really manage to keep it as a big twist.
PPS. I only have some issues with the directing of some scenes and the acting of the supporting actors, but aside from that, this was an amazing series. And now I'm uber excited for Moonlight Chicken.
