Well I wish, but hardly think that's going to happen. Plus the problem they show on these series can be easliy…
Sadly you're right. They only take the glasses and braces off and act like everything the person went through didn't leave any mark on them.
I went through all that bullying and people always beat the sh't out of me. I also changed my appearance to be accepted, but the psychological and emotional scars remained deep within me.
It would be good to see all off this being addressed throughout the series.
You are definitely right. I see most of the comments here coming from cis girls and they usually complain when there's too much graphic content: they expect the characters to be as much mainly man as they can be but with no real sexuality or desire. It's almost like they want to see fantastic tales with hot bodies but no real emotions.
I was talking about Mork because he's the one who really loves Pi. Muang Nan is just the idealized love, that one person that was cool to Pi and for that only he thinks he's in love with Muang Nan (as any person with low self esteem would probably do).
Pi will realize that Mork loves him for what he truly is and I think that this is beautiful.
they're ok with only portraying gays as fantastic creatures (usually deprived of any sexual desire whatsoever) who always need to go through some suffering and other stuffs in order to find love or be with someone.
anything other than that doesn't seem to even exist for them.
Clearly Mork already loves Pi just the way he looks. Pi is already loved but he doesn't know that. He thinks he needs to be someone else in order to be loved. So I'm stating that I'd love to see it happen and if it doesn't happen somewhere along the series I'll be very disappointed.
English isn't my first language so perhaps I'm not making myself clear? Anyways... I think you've got it now
Sometimes I think that if those producers ever decide to depict love as it really is in one of their shows it wouldn't sell because most of the viewers rather see an idealized love than a real one.
And the worst thing is that those same viewers start to look in real life for things that only exists in fairy tales. You know what I mean?
Why do you think it's sarcasm? I haven't read the novel and I have no idea on what's going to happen in this series. Ive just watched the first episode and I felt really related to the ML's life.
I went through the same shit he's going through just to be loved and accepted by someone who didn't like me. Back then I thought I was the problem. So I'm saying this because I think it would be really nice for Pi to hear that he was already loved long before he changed his appearance. Got it?
if I don't see Mork saying "you didn't have to change, because I've always loved you just the way you are" to Pi at some point throughout the series, I'll be very veeeery angry and disappointed.
Say what you want, but this special depicted a more realistic relationship than most of the BL series and even WHY R U itself. Not all relationships have to be problematic and toxic after it begins - ok, it may tremble at first and get a little complicated till the two person find out their real feelings, but after that sometimes there can be a healthy relationship, which we don't usually see in some BLs.
It really depends on who you ask, I've seen people praise this show to all ends: some really love it, some don't…
It's my b-day's weekend and I had nothing else to do, so I'm binge watching it - but after episode 7 I skipped a lot of scenes because there was only sexual tension and fluffy moments happening.
I think I've watched most of the classic BLs already so there aren't so many options left for me to watch right now. The only shows I haven't watched are the ones with MaxTulll because after seen so much stuff on the internet about Max, his body and his girlfriends I kind of got bored of him. lol

I'm on episode 10 and for me the story pretty much ended on ep 7, now it's just sex, kisses and all that comes with that. It's exactly what I wish my quarantine could be. LOL
Ok, it started as a cute rom-com and ended as a soft porno. By the last 6 episodes there was no story whatsoever, only passionate kisses and lots (and I mean LOATS) of sex (it the first time I see such graphic sex scenes and also sex talk in a BL - I haven't watched MaxTull series yet).
BTW I've never been so triggered by a BL series like that before. I'm on quarantine for more than 1 year now and what I've seen here almost drove me insane. LoL
