It depends on where you are watching it. Some youtubers are reuploading it and numbering it differently. I try to stick to the source so they get the views. If you watch Kongthup's Channel, you get the correct numbering and support the production. 1/1, 1/2, 2/1, 2/2, etc

I don't see the comparison with AI 2001, that could be personal bias because I didn't care for the movie and haven't seen in in a very long time. However from what I do recall the similarity is very superficial.
While I have not rewatched Bicentennial Man in quite a while, I did like it. I liked the journey the robot took and the ending fit. What is more human than death? We are born, live a life (hopefully worth living) and in the end we die. His death was proof of his humanity.
In AI Girl the death scene doesn't feel like it completes the story. It feels like a spare part bolted on. It feels out of place. When you end a story, unless you are planning a sequel, typically you wrap up lose threads, though you may leave some things open to interpretation or speculation. This ending created more questions than it answered. Ai didn't age, so how did that play out over 45 years? My friend whose husband is only 10 years younger than he is, just got asked if they were father an son. (Yikes!) It also took me right back to the bad-old-days of sapphic fiction where the girls had to die or meet some other end (yes 45 years is a long time, and it's not the same, it still carried the feeling).
The story would have felt complete without the final scene, so what did the final scene add to the series, other than saying they had many years together? I don't think it adds anything that couldn't have been shown in another way, if it needed to be shown at all. No love is ever guaranteed to last.
So we have a scene that doesn't feel like it fits, doesn't add to the narrative in a meaningful way, and doesn't wrap up stray questions. Taken together it felt like someone had seen Bicentennial Man and just wanted to add this scene (maybe not even intentionally.)
Humans was great in season 1. I think I watched at least part of season 2, but I don't think I finished it.

I really like EmiBonnie (US is one of my all time favorites) and I hope this is a good show, but I'm reserving judgment since this is in the same universe as My Only Sunshine. The books were both written by the same author (Jan and Sun are sisters) I'm afraid something terrible will happen. I dropped My Only Sunshine after Flint SA'ed Sun.
The toxic parent trope is so overdone but I feel like Runch's mom is about the worst of the lot. She's far worse than Prem's mom in Poisonous Love. I mean she is up there with Aoey's mom from Mate who kept protecting her abuser. On the bright side there are only 3 episodes left.

It really comes down to Channel 3 being completely hit-or-miss. They have hit some out of the park with great pairings and strong direction, but the writing isn't there in most of their shows.
I'm going to ramble, but may give you some useful tidbits to consider.
The three sentence plot of Only You was mostly good (though many plot points were lame), but the writing and directing were awful. It made money because two pretty girls kissed. GL attracts just as many (probably a lot more) straight men watching as lesbians. Men just see corn, so judging the industry by money is short-sighted. Which I think is the problem at ch3; it made money, so "it must have been good enough," and that follows to other production houses to some degree. The other side of it is that in a world where there is so little lesbian content, many people have very low thresholds for what they consider good.
There is a seemingly never-ending list of absolute trash content that manages to “unbelievable numbers and locked in major bags.” Equating this to the quality of the product is nonsense.
I've joked (but kinda true) that the east is speed-running all the worst tropes in sapphic content that the west already went through. It's only been 4 years since GAP broke the mold in Thai GL and gave us a happy ending. I could write a thesis on all the problems with that story, but the money behind it just saw the money and hit repeat, with the results visible in cringe-worthy shows like Blank, because they followed one very problematic author at first.
On the flip side, we have things like US and The Loyal Pin which hit it out of the park. US is by the same author as GAP and Bank, but the screenwriters took a lot of liberties with the script and really made something special out of the disaster of a book. Similarly, we have My Safe Zone, which is objectively a boring script, but Lena Miu and the director still managed to make a great show from it.
Don't make too much of the other comments. Some people confuse platform account stats with real-life experience and knowledge. I haven't been on MDL very long, but I've been watching and reading WLW content longer than half the users on this platform have been alive, and I’m also a lesbian.

If you're just saying "look these other stories did it" that doesn't counter my point. There are probably more storylines with similar scenes.
