So far the only characters I like at all are Praew and Min. I actively dislike Shasha, Prim, and Bambi. The characters are so flat and one dimesional. I haven't decided how I feel about Gorya.

I've enjoyed MilkLove and NamtamFilm in other roles, so I think it's the writting and directing. It could also be because they are trying to develope too many characters/couples at once.

We definately see things differently. I see this one as tepid at best. There are several on your list I would rate much lower, so we have different standards.

I'm watching from the US with no geoblocking on Monomax for 3.99 a month (99 Baht) I used a privacy credit card to pay since I have no idea how secure their website is. I'll drop the subscription as soon as I watch the last episode.

To be fair, Monomax app and website are poorly done in English. Try switching languages a copple of times if you need English. You'll get there, but it took some fiddling around.

The era of crossovers started with Only You. LOL. The cameos are cute. I just wish they maintained continuity better.

Playful Din is super cute.

I've never been a fan of the "I was drunk and don't know what I did" story lines, and I'm not buying that either of them wouldn't remember what happened especially since Rose used the same line Din did. This eppisode certainly solidified them as a couple, they just don't know it yet.

I also don't buy any of what Rose is selling with the "just playiung the fake wife." She is head over heals and more than a little posesive and just needs to admit it.

Can't we have both?

On a side note, I'm enjoying Freen as Lom in this. She was so rigid and stoic in GAP, and so mousey and stoic in The Loyal Pin (still an all-time fav). She wears this loose and confident character well. I look forward to seeing more of Lom.

I watched them the first time though, and skip most of them on the re-watch unless the scene also shows something else important, like Rose comming to Din's defense.

I honestly can't say how many times I've re-watched all the episodes, but especially 3 and 4. The chemistry between Rose and Din is amazing in this tortuously slow burn. The alternation between shy and bold moments from both characters is frustrating in the best possible way, from the way Rose confidently declared he love for Din while defending her, to the way Rose looked at Din in the bathroom doorway as an obviously uncomfortable Din squeezed past.

I can't wait for the next episode. Jealous Rose is going to be fun, though the jealousy started with Kaew in ep 3. Is the jealousy just Rose's way of selling the "fake marriage", or is it her real feelings showing through?

Don't forget Koi. She only got one sceene in ep 9, but she deserves justice too.

I know a number of folks on the spectrum, and it made it so much simpler to see Jane that way. She would miss a social cue if it waked up and introduced itself. I'm glad I wasn't the only one. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is the second dumbest GL I've watched. Total waste of time.

Bi representation - it could have been worse, but not by much.

I would stay away from whoever wrote HER for ch23. My understanding is that when presented with valid criticism of the transgender representation in the teaser on Twitter, they just blocked people. (I don't do Twitter, so it's second-hand info). I've not read any of the GL books myself, so I can't say beyond this.

If you look at the GLs based on Chao Planoy's books, the only really good one is the US, with varying levels of issues with the rest. It really comes down to how much the screenwriter was willing to change, from what I can tell (again, I haven't read them, so that's based on things readers have described). It also depends on what red flags you are willing to overlook. Blank is the one I really have issues with because of the age gap and the way they infantilize the younger character.

The list of problems with GL authors is long, exacerbated by their pursuit of money and fame. Chao Planoy is the worst of the lot, but far from the only problematic author.

FWIW, I agree entirely. Clairebell was excellent beyond good bi representation. It was good all the way around. She was dating a guy and then dating Clair. One relationship ended, and the other started.

The only hope i have is for some sort of learning in the final episode, but I'm not holding my breath. I think it's just going to be more hot garbage.

I'm not keen on cheating either, and I'm not sure where I fall on this one. She never made promises to Leemhai and Nine kinda steamrolled right over her objections infront of the 1st day aniversary photo backdrop, which was kinda wierd and gross. Either way, two dates at once is the epitome of bad choices.

You can hardly throw a rock without hitting a GL with the "but I didn't know I could like women" trope. ugh.... And two dates at once? This is lazy writing and bad representation for bisexual folks.
