Title School 2017 Spoiler
I wished a little bit more damage was done to the 4 spoiled brats gang, but the drama also showcases their struggles and hardships, balancing them out rather than making them into evil little monsters. But you can't help but wish they were punished a bit more.

I also felt that the 3 girls that bullied Bo Ra were given an easy pass considering how much violence was used against her at the start of the series. Even if she "betrayed" her ex-best friend, what she had to go through in the drama was not justified by how things were concluded.

Also...no kiss!!! I get that it was a highschool drama...butt.....so much potential wasted!

Title School 2017
This drama was so adorable. The high school romance that everyone has ever dreamt of was really portrayed well in this drama. I loved that the male lead was actually kind of a dork and so cheesy, even though he tried to have a tough-guy image. The bromance was really sweet, though I thought it could have been developed a bit more towards the end. Most of the side stories were really interesting which is hard to do throughout the drama. I don't think it was as impactful as School 2013, this was much lighter and fluffier but that doesn't take away from the drama at all (I esp prefer the ending to this one). I like that side characters weren't ignored after their story arc was done but were integrated into the main story line.
I have to say that despite playing the antagonists the principal and vice-principal were actually really hilarious. They had me laughing with their love-hate relationship.
My only criticisms are that towards the last few episodes the drama became a little shallow and superficial and lost the original charm it had throughout most of the drama. And also the editing was a bit off, the drama often changed scenes seemingly at random and then would go back to revisit them in an illogical way. But that is almost always the case in kdrama land. It's still a great watch though, definitely put this one on your watch list!

I'm glad i read the comments before I watched this because it made me go in with zero expectations and I ended up feeling like it wasn't that terrible. Yes the storyline is a snore fest and they wasted so much potential on prolonged yearning and deep looks and crying. I can honestly say I didn't care too much for the main characters together but I did enjoy them separately. I loved the second couple more and found them adorable.
Its an okay filler drama but you will easily forget and move on.

Alright, lets move on. Time to give Joo Won a really good new drama!
She is so pretty and her acting was really good in this too! <3

The first half of this drama was really fun to watch but it did get really draggy in the second half. I think I basically skipped most of the last 3 episodes because it was so slow and just full of fillers. I did love the last 10 minutes of the drama though and loved the princess' decision. Overall it felt like the writing fell short for what could have been a potentially good drama. One of my biggest gripes will be the mother and sister in the drama, they were so infuriatingly annoying. I can't even understand how the writer expected us to relate to their characters.

Most of the actors did really well esp. Oh Yeon Soo. I thought the "sassy" side of her character was really portrayed really well since the role could have easily pushed her into annoying territory. Joo Won's character seemed a little too one dimensional to me and I don't know if it was him not feeling it or the writing. I was glad Lee Jung Shin didn't have too much of a role because it would have been so easy to get SLS with him but thankfully they avoided that trope.

There was nothing too bad about it but it just didn't hold my interest towards the second half. As other's have commented, watch this as your filler drama, it won't end up being something you will remember or feel deeply about but it's a fun watch for the first half.

There are points I disagree with you on, but omg yes. I dropped Love 020. I'm sure ill pick it up again for…
"Park Shin Hye in romance dramas cause of it, she's basically the queen of dead fish kisses" - Thissssss I keep wanting to like her but her acting never pulls me in.

Agreed with all of these. Only one I kinda enjoyed was Love me if you dare but even that was meh. Haven't watched the thai one but if it was anything like the Korean Full House, it deserves to be on this list for the reasons you have listed.

Love 020...agreed with the entire review, I think i didn't even get past ep 3 of that mess.

Title Whisper
LSY in his interview says the drama was a physical and a mental torture , he criticize the hard script and says…
If that's true it would make so much sense cause you can feel no one is enjoying being in this drama! Everyone is just so uninterested....

This drama is really strange, I appreciate the fact that the main characters are really smart and for once aren't being constantly trapped by the bad guys. There are times though when watching their actions I wonder who is the "good" team and who is the "bad". I think my issue is the actors chosen for the negative roles look and feel too innocent. Also I can't believe I'm watching the same actress (Lee Bo Young) from I Hear Your Voice. She was so good in that drama and really made you relate to that character. She's a piece of wood in this drama. A badass piece of wood for sure, but one with barely any emotions or on-screen chemistry. I find myself wanting to skip her scenes. At episode 9, is this worth continuing?

How much romance is there in this?
A good amount but its balanced out with the friendship aspect of the plot. So it works both ways, whether to you are romance junky (like me) or if you despise that the friendship angle is worth watching for.

There are people who would hate on that? People are really bored these days....Who cared why you start something as long as you enjoy/learn from it!

Also the Se-Ju's house in the drama is everything I have wanted. It's filled from top to bottom with books and is LOVE.

This drama was perfection. Everything was amazingly balanced, the romance, the friendship, the comedy, the script, the OST, the actual storyline that carried through all the way to the last episode (a feat almost unheard of in kdramaland). I don't even have the words, no one should hesitate to watch this drama, it's beautifully shot, carries multiple important messages and illustrates a friendship I have only previously felt from LOTR. The chemistry between Yoo Ah In and Go Kyung Po at once filled me with joy and broke my heart. Even though you could predict (towards the end) what had happened, it didn't stop it from touching you immensely and capturing your heart.

Importantly, this drama held some great life lessons, each one sowed in seamlessly into the script without being pretentious. I don't particularly believe in patriotism because I find the concept slightly ridiculous but I fully embraced how achingly they all believed and fought for freedom. It really makes one appreciate the freedom we currently enjoy and take for granted. This drama was a great reminder that our freedom is built on the sacrifice of many people and should never be given up easily.

It carries many many many amazing quotes that touched me deeply but my favourite one was:

"Fear comes from the distrust of yourself and anxiety about the unknown. If you don't want the fear to takeover, you have no choice but to trust yourself".

Despite how much I wrote...words to describe this drama seem clumsy and I find it hard to explain how impeccably this has been crafted. I feel sad because I don't know when I will get to see a drama this perfect again.

After drama addiction comes the drama slumps. Where I am in now. It's where you feel like there's nothing to watch and your days are just blurring through till some shining drama beacon is bestowed from drama land unto you.

Kimu Taku!!! I think Hero was the first drama that I watched of his and I was so hooked on to jdramas for a while because of him (altho my love for romcom fluff always brings me back to kdramas). But Kimu Taku <3 <3
