Wu Tingfang also liked the ML from the start, but she gave up after he and the princess got married, and she felt cheated. Because her father asked the ML to marry her at the beginning, but he declined saying he would never marry anyone(since he wanted to go back to future), so yeah.
Lian Jin betrayed Wu Tingfangs family right before the marriage, but she only found out right after they married, and she became crazy, and for literally no reason he killed her?? yeah, something like that.

She was dying, and as her dying wish she wanted to marry the ML. Though after the marriage, she was suddenly saved with a rare medicine. But the director still made her die after that after some eps.. Also Wu Tingfang married her senior brother Lian Jin, but then he went evil and killed her for some reason. All in all, some dumb ass plot.

Nope, pretty much the ML and FL are in love since the early episodes, and he kinda rejected the princess and Wu Tingfang already. He did marry the princess though.
About the ending, don't remember much, wasn't that exciting. He became enemies with Zhao Pan. Then flashforward, he lives in the mountains with the FL and he has a son which ends up being Xiang Yu.
About the song in Episode 7--did the ML actually sing it?
He did actually sing the song https://weibo.com/7466327746/K2vDI5ydi (the original version called 但愿人长久). But the main OST 水调歌头 (a cover) is placed over it, which is not sang by him obviously.
The performance at the event in ep7 was so pretty, even I clapped.. okay not really, but still. Anyways liking it so far, but I hope to see more future mind things implemented like inventions, since it's pretty subtle so far in that time travel aspect.
The title and synopsis makes it seem like the story revolves around the 'house helper' or that he impacts the FL's lifes. But it's more about the lifes of the 3 female leads and he's just kinda there, also the 2nd couple is more funny and interesting, even Miss An is more interesting. Overall it's pretty bland so far in comparison to "The Nanny Man", the chinese original story.
Michelle Chen as Xiao Longnu isn't really bothersome after some eps. Though should've casted like (Sarah) Zhao Yingzi or like literally anybody else on the cast list. Still don't like this Yang Guo story compared to Guo Jing & Zhang Wuji, since this is just a bunch of random love stories. There's not much jianghu things going on, or at least less than what you'd expect. Props to Mao Xiaotong tho, for making Guo Fu such a hateful spoiled brat >:(
