He’s inlove with the soul of Naksu. In part 1, Naksu is inhabiting JBY/Mudeok’s body but it has the appearance of JBY. In part 2, Naksu is still in the same body but the appearance was changed to hers since they have used her energy to revive the body. She is using the JBY now because she had lost her memory and they made her believe she is JBY. But Jang Uk, has been inlove with Naksu all along..

This is the most acceptable ending for me :)

It may stay as Naksu’s face since the body is fully recovered.. Like they would not have the need to revive nor reform it using JBY’s energy.. But with all honesty, although I like the real Naksu’s face, it would not matter to.. I don’t care whose face it is just as long as the soul is Naksu. It will be a total disappointment if they really make it JBY with Naksu’s face. TBH, this is my worst fear for the ending because they keep on mentioning JBY with Naksu’s face when’s they are introducing GYJ’s character.

Actually, I have thought of 1 more, if they decide to make a HE.. They can have JU use the ice stone to save Naksu. JU will lose his power but will leave. Naksu will become strong again and JU will be weak.. They will get married and finally make their witness. So they will leave as husband and wife being JU as submissive husband.. lol

Haha.. I saw that but did not actually consider it as it likely unlikely. I don’t think they can change the appearance as they please. It only happened in Naksu’s case because the writers decided to do so.. JK! It happened in Naksu’s case because the body was petrified and they had used Naksu’s energy to revived the body. Soi’s body is not petrified so if they ever thought of switching one of the souls into her body, she will have SoI’s appearance.

I doubt this would happen. I don’t think they would even have a chance nor time to awaken the fire bird so they’ll never get to perform another dance ritual. That dancing priestess shown in the preview I believe was JSR so they were only showing the ritual happened in the past. JBY/Naksu will get out of the Guido prison with the plaque so JinMu couldn’t take over JinYowon.. Jinmu will definitely be defeated so the real problem they would have to resolve in the last 2 eps is the Naksu/JBY saga.. Their end is hard to predict as there are many possible ends.

1.) JBY is indeed the real villain. If this is case, ofc she must die since they shld not let the villain win.
2.) They will make a plot twist that it was acually BY that JU fell inlove with so in the end, JBY will fully consumed Naksu’s soul and will continue to live as JBY with Naksu’s face. Naksu will die
3.) JBY and Naksu’s souls will merge. She will keep Naksu’s face and will either have both of their memories shared or just Naksu’s since she’s always been the dominant soul, but will possess divine powers instead of Naksu’s powers.
4.) JBY will overpower Naksu and will take the ice stone from JU and destroy it for the greater good, so both leads die.
5.) JU will use the ice stone/his power to save Naksu sacrificing his life.
6.) Naksu will overpower JBY and will get to keep the body. She happened to regain her memory first before BY regains her full power so she stands a chance. Her sword may play a role in regaining her powers.
7.) JBY is actually dead long time ago and her divine body only lives through energy, meaning it is actually empty and is only waiting for the rightful person to own it help continue protecting Jinyowon. JBY must just be testing Naksu all along to see if she can let go of her dark past and accept who she is now and move on. There must be a reason why they keep on having a young Bu Yeon to appear instead of an adult Bu Yeon.. I understand JSM could no longer appear, but they can have an adult Buyeon appear and not show her face.
8.) JSM will make an appearance after all and both souls will be split having their own respective body.

There could be more that I may have missed, so it is really hard to predict how this show would actually end. If their goal is to make it unforgetable by making it a sad ending, I don’t think that is necessary at this point as they shownis already unforgettable because of its complicated story line.

Yes, 2 possible theory.. 1) Real BY opened it so Naksu and JU could meet. Like I said in the other comment, it was probably her goal to get close to JU through Naksu either because she likes him or her real target is the ice stone. 2) Naksu’s sword hit the wall.. And it probably sensed it’s owner’s presence hence opening the door..

I noticed this right away when I watched episode 1 so initially thought it was the sword that caused the barrier to get lifted until they confirmed BY’s existence..

I hope they clarify that in the next ep.. TBH there were lots of questions in this drama that were not answered..

Well it is not yet confirmed if she’s actually a villain or not. We only know so far based on what was revealed that she has been using Naksu’s energy to recover her divine powers and is planning to get rid of her after. It has not been confirmed yet if there is more to that.. Right now, TBH, I think her goal is to get close to Jang Uk either because she’s inlove with him or to get the ice stone. She would have done that easily if she recovered all her powers prior to Naksu regaining her memory. My only fear right now is that her totally consuming Naksu’s soul without JU realizing it since her appearance may remain as Naksu’s eventhough Naksu is gone..

I was waiting for the bts of that but they didn’t show much of the kiss scene part 🙈

Naksu may have been her initial plan but she probably fell inlove with Jang Uk in the process. She may have been dormant but given the revelation in part, she was most likely conscious all along. In part 2, ep 1, BY may have the one who lifted the barrier so JU Naksu could mean then she could have the opportunity to get close to JU through Naksu. If she happen to regain all her powers before Naksu could gain her memory, then everything would have gone according to her plan smoothly and Naksu will disappear silently..

Originally, my thought was maybe her goal is to find the ice stone and destroy it for the greater good but that smile when she saved JU means something else to me..

Naksu indeed tried to shift souls in p which is wrong and cannot be justified. Naksu in part 1 is like a lost soul. She was blinded by hatred and revenge and was living in the dark. She was raised by JinMu and pretty much didn’t have any interaction with other people. Jang Uk became her light in part 1 so she changed because of him. And as she met and interacted with other people, she began to have compassion.

They can do it as they technically only have 2 major problems to resolve - JBY/Naksu and JinMu..

GYJ mentioned in an interview that they have similar fight scenes so I guess we will get to see them fight together in the last episode.

They never announced that there will be part 3. They would have announced it by now if that is in the work.. Pretty sure the show is ending next week..

Blue marks basically represents that the soul in the body is different from the body only that in Naksu’s case, blue mark is in the eyes. Naksu is not the real owner of that body despite of it having her appearance thanks to her energy.. The appearance of the blue mark means the body and soul are now conflicting..

So sorry to disappoint you but JSM didn’t sign to take part in part 2 at all so there is no way that they can get her to film new scenes at all and that is why they had the young BY to appear instead. At this rate, it is only a matter of who get s to stay and keep the body they’re in.
