At this point I think they are going for JU and JBY being the reincarnations SG and JSR. Now whether it is the real JBY or Naksu that is JSL’s reincarnation, I don’t know for sure. We can say it is the real JBY since she’s the blind one. But where would Naksu fall if this is the case? Would to they make a plot twist by making it was actually BY that JU has been interacting and fell inlove with? BY’s smile to JU when she saved him from Aos in part 1 still bothers me TBH.. This is the shittiest ending if ever.. I hope they don’t do this. If they do, I’m gonna release the fire bird myself! 🤣🤣

This is possible. kind of remind me of an old kdrama The Legend of Four Gods.. King was also born under the King Star and 2 sisters share ownership/guardianship of the phonix - one is reincarnation of the king’s love but he fell inlove first with the older sister when they were reincarnated. Also, one of them was destined to help the king and one was destined to destroy the world. Come to think of it, their situation is kind of similar except here JU has only been inlove with Naksu as far as we know. So the king there ended up dying with his first love leaving his true love behind to live. Here, what if the fire bird is both JBY (assuming she’s still alive) and Naksu but with 2 different sides - one is a protector and one is a destroyer and JU has to kill whoever was destined to set drought to the world. I would not want this kind of ending though. Just me doing some overthink again lol

As much as I would like more screen time for the leads, I don’t think I can wait for another season. can’t even enjoy any other dramas now coz I am too invested on this one. Lol

Could be.. They didn’t really confirm the exact date she was born. all they said was Jang Gang had chosen a specific date for to be born. I just calculated her age based on the events mentioned . BY went missing when she was 10. HG has been looking for her for abt 10 yrs + the 3-yr time lapse.

Idk.. I guess it depends. For me, TBH, age is definitely a big factor. I know it shouldn’t but I don’t find it appealing on dramas compared to when they are of the same age. And it didn’t help that they had them played as master and pupil. They indeed had great chemistry but not in the same level as with GYJ now. I didn’t feel the attraction then as much as I feel it now..

I think there’s a plot hole in their age gap. If you followed the story, Naksu is like 3-5 yrs older than Jang Uk. But in the characters charts they released before, Naksu, BY and JU are all 20 yrs old (part 1 setting). But even if Naksu is older, they are of the same age now physically if BY has the same age as JU.

Yeah, it appeared like he was talking to her but I don’t think so. He had to have a bigger reaction than that. I think it would be an emotional scene for JU to see her blue eyes..

Scenes shown in the previews are not usually the exact scene. To me, when JU said the preview, it is like Naksu/BY just recalling what JU said while seeing her eyes turning blue. So it is not Jang Uk’s actual reaction. I expect this moment to be rather dramatic as it is a significant moment. Seeing her blue eyes will be JU ultimate sign confirming she is Naksu.

I was wondering about that too. He may be up to something or may just be experimenting on what will actually happen. I noticed he is not the type who will voluntarily help unless asked or is necessary. Remember that scene where he asked JU why is he not asking him about BY when he could have just told him 🙄. I really could not guess what master lee is thinking.

They are just probably referring to her character as JB until it is revealed that she is Naksu/Cho Yeong. Tvn referred to her as Cho Yeong in one of their previou posts prior to the premier so I’m pretty sure they will eventually use her real name. It may not be until the end though..

Jang Uk is naturally drawn to her but let’s wait until he finally knw she is naksu. Master Lee may be up to something in his sleeves but I doubt JU would fall for it the moment he finds out Naksu is inside JBY’s body. I maybe overthinking but I think Cho Yeong holds a power that they have not disclosed yet so we’ll see what happens.

It is a matter of preference. For me, I enjoyed both parts. Part 1 is interesting coz that’s where they build up the story, like you don’t know what will happen and it makes you curious. That is the same for me for part 2 and the chemistry of the leads is a bonus for me. Like I already like the story but having GYJ got me addicted that I wouldn’t mind over and over again.. In fact, I still couldn’t enjoy any other drama as much as I enjoy this one yet.

That is going to be a total disappointment if they do that. Although there’s possibility that JBY is still alive, it is clear that the story is and has always been about Naksu. Besides, LJW already confirmed in an intErview that the title Light and Shadow came from his name Uk and Yeong from Naksu’s real name. It would not make sense no matter what plot twist they use to switch it to JBY. I think that comment only means that Naksu has to completely regain her memory before the body could fully regain its divine power. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if master lee is actually a villain and has ulterior motive.

Soi had to die because she was reincarnated into the modern world.. Chingu is now in The Fabulous 🤣🤣

I’ve rewatched ep6 and apparently looks like there’s a difference between BY regaining her divine power then Naksu recalling her memory vs. Naksu recalling her memory first then BY’s divine power and looks like recalling her memory first before the BY regains her divine power is better.. This is giving me the thought that master lee actually lied to HG. So, Jang Uk may recognize her before she can completely regain her memory and he would need to help her remember before BY could retrieve her divine power.

How Naksu was rescued from the lake, who rescued her and how appearance was changed to her actual appearance was answered in this season’s ep 2 although we are not sure if that’s the truth after master lee dropped another bomb on ep 6.. TBH i’m having trust issues now.. As to what actually happened during Naksu’s attempt to shift souls, they didn’t actually give us some clear answers and I doubt they will give us some clarification in the future eps as they have created new issues to unravel. I still have one more hope, when Jang Uk finally recognizes Naksu and oncr Naksu’s soul and BY’s body begin to clash, maybe, just maybe, Jang Uk will see what actually happened and they will show it to us..

Lol! Ikr I’m still seeing some comments saying give Naksu to Yul then give Bu yeon/Mudeok to Uk which is funny. It may get more confusing when Cho Yeong is formally introduced then we have 4 different persons 🤣🤣🤣
