its true! personally, i found the adaptation very poor and faulty. Being a huge OG money heist fan i couldn't be more disappointed at the changes in plotlines and character personality. But then i asked a few of my kdrama addicted friends, they said they loved it because it was like a "kdrama" . Also the fact i have watched a handful of kdramas mostly, and even out of that majority ive either skipped, dropped, put on hold. im a j-movie and anime fan who likes to watch dramas sometimes. so in better words not a kdrama fan. in that perspective your comment makes so much sense. its made in a way it would fulfill the desires and expectations of kdrama fans, brings the template and cliches of a generic kdrama and all the emotions in a particular way which might not sit with someone who's not used to the dynamic

whats so wtf about that ? maybe that its far more superior than the korean version ? maybe the fact that the storyline change kr version made, turned out extremely shitty ? the fact that almost everyone who has watched the og version rolled their eyes during the changes.
the remake is overall great but nothing like the original. and it screams the fact " remake can never overcome og" ? with such a great cast and director and screenwriter my expectations were way too high and got shattered and prolly happened to a lot of ppl ? lmao

i think i dislike romantic melodrama to such an extend that i just end up laughing at the serious scenes here. good lord. its hilarious. i came to watch this because it had the trope of " fl likes ml and ml likes someone else" .
