I didn't read the entire thing, just went to peek at the last chapter due to curiosity.. didn't even read the dialogues, I just skimmed through. It seems she was either forced to or willingly gave up the throne at the end. she was then assassinated after leaving the palace, her male identity "dies", she lives the rest of her life as yeon seon.

it's not that FL hates ML. but because of what his father has done, FL can't/(trying not to) associate with him.. if that makes sense.

in costume dramas.. cousin lovin is pretty normal in those times.

I think Hyun might actually have gay feelings for crown prince. Reason why I think he's gay is because when they were kids if you remember when he ran into Jung Jiwoon on the way to the royal banquet or w/e.. he seemed extra friendly towards Jiwoon too (the scene right before jiwoon saw her drop the blue cloth and chased after her to return it)

I need this to have a revenge plot or I'm gonna be disappointed

lol the production value does not look "low quality" at all imo. just think of it overall like a 2-3hr movie. only a few eps in but it looks cute/funny so far.

just "finished" starting at ep 21 I started skim watching though.. only watching fully parts that had Yao Di Zhu.

honestly, idk if it was because I skimmed the entire later half but at the conclusion.. I still don't know if Sun Xun is actually a good guy (despite them "explaining" how he teamed up with the king). like.. I don't believe it lol. maybe just poor writing or scenes being cut at the end on how they concluded things. like it almost feels like they meant to end it with sun xun being the bad guy but later wanted to have a "happy ending" so the flipped it real quick at the end so the main couple could reunite.

the overall plot was good, just the "detective" work regarding the main case was kind of lacking.

omg their facial expressions (especially Victoria's) when they are having these intense and suspenseful back and forth chats are everything but my non chinese speaking a$$ has to stare at the bottom of the screen lol.

lol @ people complaining it wasn't "enough" screen time for bai jue and shang gu at the very end. you want an extra 10 mins, 30 mins, 1 whole ep, or a few eps after bai jue came back? what do you want them to do in that extended time lol, play house or go for long walks and have long chats ? that smells like a cringe fest I don't want to see honestly (sometimes things are better left to the imagination)
Episode 49 is perfect imo.

idk, but somebody is gonna have to do it otherwise I'll have to drop 2 stars from my final rating. I can't have an ending like Love and Redemption where we suffer so much BS from the main villain and they end up not punished lol.

sheesh! the background instrumental and sounds in this drama. They wanted me to feel the suspense and they got it lol

I think someone said it was along the line of bai jue splitting his soul into two in order to develop chaos power during the 60k years because he wasn't born with the chaos core like shanggu or xuanyi (the dude who was supposed to sacrifice during the tribulation but said hell nah and converted to demon lol so then shanggu had to replace him, he was the original leader of the 5 true gods). bai jue somehow stopped shanggu from sacrificing herself to stop the tribulation and his overall plan is to develop the power she has so he can complete the tribulation in her place.

sigh.. I stopped watching a couple weeks ago so I stockpile eps until it finished airing lol. gave into temptation yesterday and just now finished bingeing eps 19-38 :(( now I have to wait again.

apparently FL lead's student Gu Jun got together with her maid/spiritual beast Wu Huan and birth the egg that Gu Jun was holding at Wu Huan and the other dude's wedding. FL reincarnated into that egg and is now that young princess we saw getting her powers tested at end of ep 16. I think a whole squad of gods might've reincarnated as well when they showed that group of really young practitioners in white looking at the stars at night.

how far into it did you start skimming. You can already get a clear understanding on how their "attraction" develop in eps 2 and 3.
tough to say the story is 0/10 when you're skimming through the story as you've said lol

idk if it's just me reading things wrong but it seems like fushui and consort Yan's personal eunuch is actually the final bosses? like it seems like consort Yan wants to do bad things get power for prince zhou but fushui and the eunuch are using her in their plot to get vengeance against the royal family/dynasty.

-not spoiler since i'm just guessing lol

I think he's a descendent of the previous Sui dynasty that got taken over by current Tang since he mentioned something about getting revenge.
