One and one / Forever and ever is a rebirth plot right ? Why censorship prevents this specific drama ?

Btw, did I miss the rebirth somewhere ? Or will we have a season 2 where the leads reincarnate ?

Like several comments point out, I do feel it is a non wise decision from writers to give more screen time for Gao girl and fillers when the story itself has many other important characters waiting for their narrative to take place.

For instance, the emperor, SML jealousy with LQ, LQ sister’s love, Qing An finding his mother, Qing An recapturing / securing his empire,possible misunderstandings between JBN and LQ from the secret reveal, Empress problems with JBN, JBN’s time in palace, LQ and JBN taking over throne…. With a few more war sequences takes place the 40 episodes won’t even be enough to fully narrate the main story itself but here we are given with unnecessary fillers and hate which goes against the likes of viewers. No wonder the rating is getting thrashed everyday.

I guess as per the old drama she never realises until end ? Even at the blink of death Thada will release a video where he will blame Kim for all his downfalls to make sure the leads never get a happy ending. That’s why I don’t want this drama to be longer. The longer it is the more painful and angst filled it is such that the leads can never be together.

She doesn’t remember her past life. She is just so much fascinated and connected to the story that she couldn’t ignore when she finds someone with the same name. You can say that her love for him in past life is etched in her heart although they don’t carry the memories.

Out of nowhere I started to crave for a rewatch though only a few days back I completed this.. I still feel so emotional and touched at several moments which is the biggest strength of this drama. There are many generations, wide variety of characters ( many positive ones), good support setup like historical tailors, Zhou father’s gifts for his future daughter in law, Uncle Lin, Zhocheng Ren, Yuan Yuan, Zoucheng home, Shi Yi home, Shi YI friends….Literally everything felt alive and real.

The only thing I found odd is Zoucheng Chen characterisation. Though I somehow accepted his style, I still found his acting of a hesitant shy guy to be unconvincing and very much forced. He isn’t natural fit in this drama although he was too good in one and only. I sincerely feel if he had performed like one and only, this drama might have went 9+ ratings. Because it ticks several boxes to be a drama which can be cherished forever.

Rushed relationships, slow screenplay, confusing characters, stupid behaviour, rushed ending…. Yes, you can justify this as this too happen in real world and love is blind etc. Then it will annoy, irritate and frustrate you until you drop it. There are a few who like this but if you aren’t one of them you will regret touching this forever. In my case, I wish I could ban the word “nevertheless” even from the dictionary !! I don’t want to remember this existence.

If you are allergic to annoying love triangles / clingy second male lead, stay far from this.
SML will be there everywhere to annoy you ! Even worse, FL will be in fake relationship with ML when she date SML. Then she will be working with SML in his small restaurant when she date ML ( even after SML ruined her love cunningly). Yes, despite all these nonsense they will blame the parents for not understanding :D

Still the OTP and their relationship was good to watch. Worth watching if you can fast forward every time the annoying SML face appear on screen.

I must appreciate the lead actors for carrying this drama over their shoulders despite the poor writing. By now almost all comments here know that the story is full of silly misunderstandings, unwanted angst, stupid manipulations, irritating love triangle, annoying SML, obsessive SFL, non existent second leads… Yes, the negatives list is far bigger than the positives. Yet somehow the leads had done their magic to make us come back every week like a dumb despite knowing the writer not gonna get intelligent overnight :D

Why are these people desperately pushing for 40 episodes when they got not enough substance ? Can’t they feel how annoying it is to find these pushover episodes after a week wait ???

Replying for future users. It is very much a happy ending considering ( from main couple perspective) how much hate and angst they had gone through. Despite the anger the end was with both smiling with Kim suggesting that he wants to see her everyday on the place where they confessed love and Mook leaves with a smile. Implicitly they are on their way resolving the anger.

Well said, succumbing to pressure will make FL character pitiful which will go against what they had projected so far. She didn’t faze when she lost her, dad, wealth and all their friends. So, it will be really annoying if she goes down easy and ML has to come to rescue.

In preview it was shown like she is aware of Tae Jin and he directly threatens FL to get together with him unless she wants to see Moo Hak gets destructed by him.

Could be. I just wish the separation doesn’t last long and gets resolved in mid of 14th episode itself. Don’t want to see them in sadness until the last episode which will totally ruin the fun mood, the major positive of this drama despite every sad thing going on in Dali life.

Preview looked like FL knows it was planned by Jang Tae Jin and he blackmailed her to dump her current and marry him instead ? Couldn’t remember exactly but that’s how it appears in my vague memory :D

Yup, mystery tag might be needed since the whole scheming to close down the gallery has began with the death of Dali’s dad. From the expression of HM’s brother it appears like there was someone during that moment who might be the person behind the whole land mafia stuff.

Kenji didn’t hate Shinji. There was a scene where his coach advise him to find a motive to fight and aim high when setting a motive. Shinji (being the one he love most) becomes his aim and during that moment one guy persuades Kenji to train in Yamade gym. So Kenji decides to join another gym to fight Shinji who is now his target.

Kenji follows Shinji footsteps and as a result Kenji tries the hate strategy , the hate which drove Shinji to become a champion. During the fight Kenji realises he cannot hate Shinji and all of a sudden he wants the Shinji who love Thus Kenji stops throwing punches. But Shinji having mental illness due to his past keeps fighting as he always do once he is set.

Could be but personally I felt like they are different persons. Marrying with someone and then living with a reincarnation didn’t work for me. Apart from that it also voids the reason for his time travel. Did he time travel just to know who is good person and then to marry and go back to live alone ? Certainly this end will annoy a few at least if not many.

Worst director, just watched Once we get married drama where these guys done nothing other than annoying viewers using second leads for all 24 episodes. Please get a better life than wasting viewers time like this.

Apparently he only confirmed no more confessing his love but continues to creep around FL even at today’s episode. Better ML draw lines to FL now as it went a little too much.
