If you really need someone for pleasure, convey the same and be straightforward rather than hiding behind relationship and later play it dirty when things go out of hand. Why do you feel the woman screams out a play boy name as issue while a play boy manipulating a woman is not an issue ? Being insincere, inconsiderate and manipulator is a problem. We cannot defend such personality as personal love affair.

The writers should know the excessive use of misunderstanding, love triangles and manipulations will only work against their drama.

I am further infuriated that they didn’t end 15th episode with a kiss !! Many times when the romance worked and things got together, they decided to ruin as if it is something needs to be done to annoy viewers. Will it be so wrong if her mother disturbs in the middle of kissing ? At least that would have given the best end to ep 15 and best start to ep 16. Now we are all left irritated.

Another victim bashing. In my view KSH seen her as a plaything and got scared when things got out of hand once she got pregnant. Of course he had to come with all reasons to coerce her to abort since he might not have wanted any ties with her. I am saying this since despite his empty promises of being a family, he kept her under shadows and created distance though he kept the relationship for namesake to avoid further issues. By the end he ghosted her and cited paparazzi as reason why he cannot meet her. The same paparazzi he evaded while she was still his plaything and for sure he will evade again when he finds a new muse. In fact in his own statement he accepted that he never met and discussed her the issues. All these shows he wasn’t sincere and only there to took advantage of her in the name of relationship.

This is usual play boy style. That guy who was happy during the play time and runs hiding when it is time to take responsibility. Such personality needs to be exposed and it isn’t a private matter.

I guess it’s acceptable for her to scream her disappointment when she felt cheated, manipulated and coerced !!! For sure a single promise wasn’t the reason she aborted and there was more by seeing the way she had a grudge. If KSH feels wrong, he could have explained that it was a simple breakup and he need not to have accepted that he was inconsiderate and did fail to meet / discuss issues and apologise.

She indeed loved him enough that she came back to try and reduce the impact over his quickly crumbling stardom which created more backlash for her. Still KSH isn’t bothered to explain since he knows it will only expose him more. He is just keeping quiet hoping things to calm down and possibly their PR team busy framing the woman despite going through tough times.

I am happy that the FL best friend finally shares some good words about ML. She has been the reason of most of the main couple issues. She always blamed ML for their problems and leaked their private issues to the SML. Even helped SML to become shareholder.

On a side note, I can’t understand this good SML cliche. He tries his best to not help FL address her real issues with her love interest and instead always clings around hoping for chances and thus annoying ML. Then these brainless FL do not understand that they cannot expect to fix their relationship issues while standing behind a third man . When will these writers change ?

It’s a pity that the repeated misunderstandings, the weak editing and silly mistakes pulls down such a good chemistry and screen presence of leads. I chose to ignore them since the drama is decent compared to the recent releases.

Could’ve done privately if only the breakup has happened in normal way instead of distancing himself to disappear completely citing paparazzi as reason. From his statement it can be observed that he has never met or had a conversation with her and instead himself decided it all to his own convenience.

When someone try to evade and hide to breakup after realising that playtime is over and it’s time to take responsibility, he is bound to face consequences.

It would have been nice if he had “prioritised” his fast growing career before he play with someone and manipulated the whole relationship when he had taken a step back. At least the ex gf was in relation with him on on her delusional belief that KSH was trustable to marry. On the other hand seems KSH had seen her as a little play thing seeing how he dealt with their relationship by the end.

Ofcourse nobody here blames someone for a broken relationship. Even very sweet married couples gets divorced after some time. Then the whole story here shows that he was clear in his lack of intent.. They were together in her delusional relationship, once she gets pregnant he throws empty promises of becoming a family and coerced her to abort against her interest, yet never speak a word about his gf in public or show any interest in keeping his words.

Instead he, creates distance and soon ghost citing paparazzi as a reason. The same paparazzi he managed to evade when he enjoyed his play time and probably will evade again when he find new play thing.

Everyone has their priorities! She had her priority set to have that baby but knowing it will ruin the good boy image someone has to play it dirty and now apologised for the same, Yet people fail to realise the root issue and instead beat around the bush. KSH is in a complex position since he can’t accept the fact that he wasn’t serious in relationship to start with and also can’t deny his manipulations to get rid of his accidental baby.

Drama of the year for me without any doubt. Being an ardent romance fan, I found the love story, their conversations and the way they express each other felt more touching, emotional and heart warming than the other contenders around. Such a complex story and yet the writer and team managed to keep it entertaining at its best !! HCCC will feel like a rookie if someone watch that after seeing Youth of May.

PS: I know it’s a political movie with a lot more meaning than romance. I just wanted to highlight how good this drama is from romance perspective. One of the best all times, some scenes gets my tears just while I come across them in YouTube.

I do not reply to comments which agree that everyone is flawed and KSH actions should not be blown out of proportion since he apologised in public and hopefully will never repeat his actions. People trying to overlook the serious problem here. If your boy friend of 30+ years old find reasons to abort your baby promising that as the way to make your relationship work, he is a serious DANGER. Ditch him immediately !! Decide yourself on the baby. If you want to keep the baby , fight for it. A man with true intent to marry you won’t manipulate you to abort and this relationship is meant to crumble after a cooldown period to escape his responsibilities. About the people who are blaming KSH ex gf, she indeed wanted the child but someone had to manipulate her to secure his good man image which obviously came back hard to bite him. Karma is a bi**h. Then regarding the people who tries to frame her, please check around and see how much respect an unmarried single mother gets. After being pregnant, only a girl knows how much of an emotional trauma it brings when she realises that his bf is that irresponsible inconsiderate selfish guy.

Finally, If you are matured enough you wouldn’t be trying to find faults in an impulsive post written out of her pain while seeing someone who used her for his entertainment and manipulated her to secure his image is all smiles while she is still left with regrets and heart ache of her lost baby. Drama is for people who seek simple love stories with no angst, love triangle, misunderstanding. It has good side stories, entertaining characters. But if you are going to compare it to reality or seeking something emotional to touch your heart, this may not be the drama for you.

Anyways none of our discussions should undermine how good HCCC is at this moment. Whether it is 8.5 or 9, I am happy that finally there is something new to quench my thirst for non angst simple romance.

Recently I had been digging several old dramas and Chinese dramas and it’s all disappointments in one or other way.Like I said before, HCCC is that perfect drama I had dreamt to make in mind !!

Yes, the show managed to sustain the popularity which the team, actors and the timing brought together in the beginning. I was only quoting that the exceptional rating was due to those specific reasons I had stated. With other actors or if this show released as a follow up after another good rom com , it might have changed the fate. It would have ended as another 8+ drama. That’s what I tried to convey.

The conversation and characters were good. But still I am kind of feeling empty after completion without much lingering feelings to any scene……… I mean on completion of certain dramas I used to quickly rewatch specific episodes a plenty of times even if the drama as a whole might be an underwhelming. That’s mainly due to the impact and depth of feelings / emotions they create. I find that missing in HCCC.

Those are the reasons why I feel 9 rating as a whole is a bit of too much similar to the luxury Vincenzo achieved for its star cast and positive buzz on release. If these dramas failed to create the initial buzz I am not sure if this rating would have been achieved.

I did follow Reddit and tbh even before the show was released the Reddit was buzzing for this show !! The first episode itself earned 1k+ comments on release day which certainly shows the timing and popularity of actors were one of the reason for its success. You can’t write it off.

Yes, there are several characters and side stories which worked perfect here. Then everything was kept as simple as possible and nothing breathtaking to give goosebumps or leave us in in-depth feeling which most of 9 rated dramas are expected to give. Once I completed the drama there wasn’t much to look back for me…. ( personal opinion ) although I cherished its first view,

She was being manipulated to abort the baby by pressuring her that this is the way they could hold their relationship and eventually dumped. A wise woman would know that a good man with true intent to marry won’t find reasons to abort the baby. She should have ditched him and kept the baby if that’s what her wish. Then we all know how cruel our society is, despite her love for her baby there is no way she could have escaped the wrath and shaming of random people if she had did that. You should put yourself in a woman shoes to imagine how difficult their life can be when they get pregnant trusting someone who will find plenty of reasons to sneak out of his responsibility and justify all his manipulation.

Finally please don’t try to manipulate his ex gf as bad. She was kind enough to see his quick downfall and had courtesy to try patch something for the love she once shared for him. Seeing how quick KSH apology arrived and no intent of their team to pursue this matter ahead, we netizens can certainly see there must have been some discussions and settlement happened behind the scene between KSH and his ex gf. Seeing how easy she was able to be manipulated once, there is no surprise it happened again.

Indeed ! See the drama for what it offers and for their hardwoerk. Not for personal lives.

I rated it 9 since I am someone who seek untangled relationship with no angst, love triangle, manipulation and mis-understanding. But I am really surprised the overall rating reached 9. Must be the popularity of actor at the moment and the timing this drama has released ? Otherwise pretty sure those people who seek complex intelligent stories would have reduced the rating.

But I’d like to highlight that this drama is something I would have dreamt to make as a romcom lover. Ofcourse, there are plenty of better stories around. But here and there something might look forced or artificial in them. In this drama even the artificial stuffs are told In believable way. That’s what made this work, 😅
