I'm saying this as a casual drama watcher, if the male lead is more mature and charismatic, this drama wouldve been more appealing to me. Thats the reason why I'm liking Nothing Uncovered more than Hide and Wonderful Life. I WL, it is very apparent that ml lacks acting experience.

I'm following this drama and I'm liking it so far, better than Wonderful Life though I prefer Kim Kang Woo's performance amongst those men. Nonetheless Yeon Woojin's portrayal is growing on me I'm still getting used to his trimmed hair cut.

I liked Kim Haneul but the last drama I watched from her was ages ago. She's still looked the same despite her age.

Dunno if it's just me but Jang Seungjo reminds me so much of Kim Jaejoong esp in some angles. He's too soft spoken to be a serial killer haha but yeah I'm doubting his oh so well mannered caring husband character here.

May I also add that Han Chae Ah still looked so beautiful and seems that nothing has changed since I last saw her a in Bridal Mask.

Crossing fingers this won't fail me.

It's true that there's a clear age gap. And it's true there was no chemistry. The drama is doing okay for a Yang Zi caliber drama, but there was zero sound with their CP online because there was no spark.

Let's see the final result when the drama ends I have followed Cdrama and watched many school/childhood/life dramas like this, I'm confident about me.

I am commenting because this is a public forum, I'm expressing my opinion. I love these types of stories hence I give it a shot. Giving chances even though at first ep I don't really see any chemistry not just the leads but with the whole group. I gave it another chance and after watching 4 episodes I'm done and I'm dropping this as I don't ever waste my time on things I don't like.

And mind you I just finished watching 3 episodes and still no chemistry between the leads. There was not much chemistry either with the rest of the friendship circle. And FCC looked too young or prolly his physique doesn't match well with Yang Zi.

Reply 1988 may have age gaps but you can actually feel the chemistry from the get go and the good dynamics of their friendship, it didn't felt forced. It was natural.

Stop saying "DUMB" to anyone you just met on the internet. I was merely talking about this drama. Age gap was clearly obvious since there's no sexual tension between them and looked like siblings.

I am currently watching Knight Flower with 11 year age gap and I've got no problem with them since I can see the good onscreen chemistry of the leads. Same goes with Marry My Husband. There's age gap but you can never tell as they looked like a couple than noona dongaseng.

Finished watching first episode. I can't feel the dynamics of their friendship and it felt forced tbh. Yang Zi is doing good but I can't see any chemistry between her and Fan Chengcheng. Their close friendship is also not believable due his young age. I've seen many of this kind of storyline and chemistry and friendship dynamics is a must just like in Shining For One Thing among many others. They should have find someone of her age to play as her male lead. Not sure about the other cast but I think majority are younger too.

I don't want to pass on this but not feeling anything as of the moment. Hope it improves.

By the way, the color scheme or camera directing somehow resembles Japanese old school dramas. I liked the setting but can't get the nostalgia vibe.in this.

One thing to say, Mitsushima Hikari nailed it, raw emotions and so natural in acting! She made me sob seeing how she struggled in life and raising her kid. 11/10 in acting!

Simply because the drama isn't that good. No matter how you call cnetz toxic with he way they seriously rate a drama, if it's good, it will always receive higher score. Shining For One Thing didn't even have half of Sharpshooter's promotion yet it got 7 on Douban. Cnetz are strict but a bit reasonable if you look at it closely. Sharpshooter doesn't have hype, no splash, 100million views in 3days but how many episodes? 12? That's low actually considering this is Tencent and they hype it before the release.

Good acting with good unrecycled script is the way to go now. Sharpshooter doesn't offer any of it sadly.

Nope. There's several dramas where the follow up is season is even better. What I am saying is don't judge too early. If they decided to have one, it's their call not ours. If ever, don't just watch it.

He was a rising actor when suddenly his issue came to light. Some cnetz just don't like the fact he is still able to land roles and become relevant again. Some are jealous since their faves can't bounce back but he did.

Season 2 is badly needed. We want a clear ending for Zhang Wansen. Even if it's just 12 episode long, we don't care about those few who isn't interested about it. We want to satisfy our cravings, to see our couple happy together. Viewers in China want it. So iQiyi, get it on!

You hope they cancel it? Lmao, iQiyi should be milking the popularity of the drama and since many want a clear ending, season 2 is a must. There's a lot to tell, depending on how the writer will take the story. They can even give a true happy ending with them being together in the real world if they decided he is alive. We don't decide if they give S2 or not. And please, how are you so sure that it will ruin the drama if they decide to do so? It has not started yet but here you are proclaiming it will ruin, lol. No one was even expecting this drama will be a hit, so no one, not a single soul, not you can tell that a follow up season will be bad.

It's good. Atleast better than the currently airing Mirror A Tale of Twin Cities imo

Chen Yuqi doesn't really giving the FEMALE LEAD vibes. Everything from her visuals to her aura doesn't fit to be FL. She looks like a side chic in this drama and she doesn't have chemistry with male lead Li Yifeng. Yes, I'm pointing her out because with LYF's previous dramas, he always had better onscreen chemistry with his FL leads. Chen Yuqi lacks that It Factor tbh. Li Yifeng looks cute here and his acting is on point. Wish the FL was different, it would have made a huge difference.

Finally done watching. Rating it 7/10. The last 4 episodes were done/cut weirdly, abruptly. The last 2 episodes in particular lacked that intensity, that kind of thrill, we've been chasing who the real Murderer is and that's it? Also, I really find zly's acting a bit lacking, I mean it's okay, but just lacking spice, probably had to do with the concept of her character but still... Love the last scene of Xia Mu and Shen Yu, I thought he was gonna confess his feelings, lol 😂. Overall it was enjoyable but a letdown in a sense that some were raving about it but I didn't find anything outstanding about the story.

Lol, you don't need to be an actress or a model in dramas to dress nicely. I've seen countless of dramas and characters with doctors as occupation, they look more believable with decent, presentable outfits. As one commenter above says, it's on the drama's outfit department. And also, it is my viewpoint my opinion. I am merely saying I find it weird, odd, her hairstyle, her hair looked dry and all. There was one scene I forgot which episode but her hair was clearly dry and unkempt, Idk. As an audience it bothers me. Her outfits too looked too earthly. This is a drama they could have dressed her better for audience to feel more of her inner demon, for me she doesn't looked believable as, again it is my own opinion. If anyone think overwise, I don't have problems with that.

Idk if it's just me but I find Zhao Liying's acting a bit off, not enough as a psychopath or whatever she's called now based on her actions, also her style and rugged hair, Idk why I'm bothered, I mean she's a doctor, a psychologist, she can dress better than that, Idk. Other than that I'm intrigued with the drama, ep11-12 were cut weirdly, jumping from one dialogue to another. Can't wait to see who truly the Murderer is.
